  • Patent number: 11962589
Abstract: Systems and methods include intercepting traffic on the user device; forwarding the traffic to a cloud-based system for security processing therein; and, responsive to unavailability of the cloud-based system preventing the forwarding, performing local security processing of the traffic at the user device including determining whether the traffic is allowed based on a cache at the user device, forwarding the traffic separate from the cloud-based system when it is allowed, and blocking the traffic when it is not allowed.

  • Patent number: 11954513
Abstract: The disclosed approach works without the individualized credentials of failed machines when setting up recovery VMs in a cloud computing environment. Each recovery VMs is customized to properly correspond to the system state of its failed counterpart. An illustrative data storage management system recovers backup data and system states collected from the counterpart computing devices, custom-configures recovery VMs in the cloud computing environment, and injects the desired drivers into each recovery VM during an enhanced bare-metal restore process. The enhanced bare-metal restore process works without the failed computer's credentials. The system also restores the backed up data to recovery volumes attached to the recovery VMs. The present approach is both scalable and secure.

  • Patent number: 11855977
Abstract: A device may determine that a network function of a network is to use a secure communication protocol. The network function may be configured to facilitate communication via the network. The device may identify a component of a resource configuration that is to instantiate the network function. The device may instantiate, using the component, a proxy for the network function. The device may configure the proxy to obtain a certificate that is associated with the secure communication protocol. The device may cause the proxy to use the certificate to communicate with another proxy that is associated with the network function to perform an operation associated with the network function.

  • Publication number: 20230326312
Abstract: In some aspects, a server device may obtain information relating to a location of a device that is to be delivered to a physical location associated with a recipient. The server device may transmit, based at least in part on the information indicating that the location of the device is at the physical location of the recipient, a first communication prompting the recipient to indicate whether the recipient is in possession of the device. The server device may receive a second communication indicating whether the recipient is in possession of the device. The server device may transmit a signal to cause a change of an activation state of one or more operations of the device based at least in part on whether the second communication indicates that the recipient is in possession of the device. Numerous other aspects are described.

  • Publication number: 20230326545
Abstract: A system 100 for predicting binding affinity of chemical or biological molecules and their protein targets and generating pair-wise attention map as an evidence of binding between the chemical or biological molecules and their protein targets is provided. The system 100 includes a binding activity predicting system 104 receives the knowledge data of the chemical or biological molecules and their protein targets from the global knowledge database 102 and processes the knowledge data to convert into tokens of proteins and tokens of molecules. The tokens of protein and tokens of molecules are used to train a protein and molecule representation model to predict biological activity. The protein and molecule representation model is used to train a binding activity prediction model to predict binding affinities and to generate pair-wise attention maps as likelihoods of biological activity between amino acid residues and fragments involved in binding.

  • Patent number: 11647117
Abstract: A method, device, and computer-readable medium provide for receiving, via a chatbot access channel, a chat message from a user device associated with a customer chat session; determining that the chat message includes a customer intent that corresponds to a chat flow for the customer chat session; generating one or more suggested response messages based on the chat message, wherein at least one of the one or more suggested response messages includes a previously stored chat message response corresponding to the customer intent and approved by a service agent; presenting, via a display, a transcript of a messaging sequence for the customer chat session concurrently with a user interface that enables the service agent to perform an action with respect to the one or more suggested response messages; and sending, via the chatbot access channel, a selected one of the one or more suggested response messages to the user device.

  • Publication number: 20220237084
Abstract: An information management system supports the concurrent transfer of multiple extents from a client computing device having one or more files stored in a primary storage device. The client computing device determines whether one or more of the files are extent-eligible by comparing a file size of a file with a predetermine file size threshold. Based on the comparison, the client computing device determines that the file is extent-eligible, and determines a plurality of extents for the extent-eligible file. The client computing device may then concurrently transmit one or more of the extents of the extent-eligible file to one or more nodes in communication with the client computing device. The one or more nodes may index the received extents for later retrieval during a restore operation of the extent-eligible file. The one or more nodes may also validate the extents to ensure that the extents are not corrupted.

  • Publication number: 20210377054
Abstract: A device may determine that a network function of a network has been instantiated to facilitate communication via the network. The device may request a certificate authority to provide a certificate for the network function. The device may receive, from the certificate authority, the certificate. The device may generate a certificate profile to enable other network functions of the network to authenticate communications with the network function, wherein the certificate profile identifies: the certificate and a certification protocol. The device may provide, to the network function, the certificate profile to cause the network function to use the certificate to communicate with the other network functions.

  • Publication number: 20210271553
Abstract: A system according to certain aspects improves the process of creating secondary copies of data (e.g., creating backup copies). The system can compute the score of the data (e.g., a computer file storing information) to be backed up, and determine whether the score satisfies one or more threshold criteria before backing up the data. In one example, a change in score indicates a change in the content of the data. The threshold criteria may be that the score be different from the score of the most recently backed up copy of the data.
