  • Publication number: 20190005177
Abstract: The independent claims of this patent signify a concise description of embodiments. Each component of a testbench configured to test a DUT is associated at compile time with a different hardware transactor. The testbench is partitioned at compile time into a plurality of independent partitioned testbenches, where each independent partitioned testbench comprises at least one component of the testbench. At run time, each of the plurality of partitioned testbenches is simulated in parallel. The simulating of a partitioned testbench includes execution of its at least one component on its at least one associated hardware transactor using the hardware emulation system. This Abstract is not intended to limit the scope of the claims.

  • Publication number: 20180357322
Abstract: A method may include generating a first database query to retrieve user profiles from a database. The user profiles may include a first attribute and a second attribute associated with a plurality of users. Reference data may be generated based on the user profiles. The reference data may include matrix representations of the user profiles. A clustering technique may be applied to the reference data in order to determine that a first user is similar to a second user with respect to the first attribute. In response to determining that the first user is similar to the second user, a second database query may be generated to retrieve a user profile of the first user from the database. A first recommendation for the second user may be determined based on the user profile of the first user. The first recommendation may include the second attribute of the first user.

  • Patent number: 9613643
Abstract: Alignment of a near field transducer (NFT) optical input coupler and a light emitting device involves providing excitation radiation from an excitation light source through an optical input coupler to the NFT and filtering output radiation from the NFT using a short wavelength pass optical filter. The optical input coupler is scanned through multiple positions while the photoluminescent radiation is detected. A first alignment position between the NFT input coupler and the excitation light source is identified based on the detected photoluminescent radiation. A light emitting device is scanned through multiple positions the light output is detected by a detector. A second alignment position between the light emitting device and the detector is identified. The first and second alignment positions are used to align the light emitting device with the optical input coupler.

  • Publication number: 20170076312
Abstract: System and method for recommending items to a user of an electronic device are described. The system stores an inventory of commodities offered on sale by a plurality of predetermined offline physical retail outlets. The system extracts real time information corresponding to the user indicative of user intent to purchase at least one commodity offered on sale by the offline physical retail outlets listed with the system. The system also extracts historical information corresponding to the user indicative of historic user preferences in respect of items offered on sale by the offline physical retail outlets. The system further presents the user with a user-selectable list incorporating offline physical retail outlets offering user desired commodity on sale located within a predetermined distance from the current location of the electronic device based on extracted real time information and historical information.

  • Publication number: 20160379410
Abstract: A method for operating an augmented reality system includes acquiring video data from a camera sensor or video file, and identifying at least one region of interest within the video data. Augmented reality data is generated for the region of interest without receiving user input, with the augmented reality data being contextually related to the region of interest. The video data may be displayed with the augmented reality data superimposed thereupon in real time as the video data is acquired from the camera sensor or video file. The video data and the augmented reality data are stored in a non-conflated fashion. The video data may be displayed with updated AR content acquired for stored AR metadata during later playback. The method therefore allows the storage of AR ROI's and data from any suitable sensor as metadata, so that later retrieval is possible in the absence of additional processing.

  • Patent number: 9449130
Abstract: Various embodiments automatically back annotate an electronic design representation by inserting complex model instances in the representation and interconnecting the model instances with one or more interconnect models. Identifications of ports in a first representation may be associated or updated with identifications of corresponding ports in a second representation. Annotating the first representation may also include associating or stitching parasitic information from the second representation with or in the first representation. A model is used to represent a vectored net by splitting a vectored net with a vectored net identification into multiple scalared net segments each having its own scalared net identification. Some aspects automatically generate a display for visualizing results of annotating an electronic design with complex models. Some of these aspects may further include parasitic information and analysis results in the display.
