Abstract: Devices, methods, and systems are provided for loading an implantable device into a container. One aspect of the loading system contains a loader element with a loading tunnel that is configured to gradually contract an implantable device into a compressed state of reduced size relative to an expanded state as the implantable device travels through the loading tunnel.

Abstract: Fracturing systems with frac valves having gates for controlling flow of fracturing fluid are provided. In one embodiment, a fracturing apparatus includes a frac valve having a housing with a cavity transverse to a bore. A gate is positioned in the cavity and is movable between open and closed positions to selectively block flow through the bore. The gate includes a seal assembly positioned to seal against a sidewall of the cavity to surround the bore and block flow through the frac valve when the gate is in the closed position. The seal assembly can be actuated between a less-energized state and a more-energized state following movement of the gate within the cavity from the open position to the closed position. Additional systems, devices, and methods for fracturing are also disclosed.

Abstract: A lighting device assembly includes a light source and an optic attached to a first heat sink member, a second heat sink member connected in thermal communication with the first heat sink member, and an aperture member connected to the second heat sink member. The aperture member has an inner surface having steps surrounding a light exit opening to reduce a thickness dimension. The edge of the light exit opening is angled radially outward toward its light exit side. A third heat sink member is connected in thermal communication with the second heat sink member, and has a plurality of openings to receive one or more plaster materials.

Abstract: The present invention relates, in part, to modified humanized antibodies which bind the pertussis toxin protein and their use as therapeutic agents. In particular, the present invention is directed, in part, to improved humanized 1B7 and 11E6 antibodies with extended in vivo half-lives.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media for inserting payment information into payment forms without user interaction. A system can identify that a user has navigated to a web page operated by a merchant computer system for a merchant and identify a payment form within the web page. The system can then execute a payment request API which generates a query for saved payment credentials for the user from the merchant computer system. When the merchant computer system indicates it does not have the saved payment credentials for the user, the system can identify browser-saved payment credentials stored in the Internet browser, then generate a virtual payment information associated with the browser-saved payment credentials. The virtual payment information can then be inserted into corresponding fields of the payment form without the user entering any additional information.

Abstract: Users of a database management engine may generate fillable digital documents by mapping interface elements onto form documents. When a user maps interface elements onto a form document, the user may accidentally overlap two or more interface elements. To rectify this, the database management engine may modify the position of one of interface elements based on a set of positioning rules. In addition, the database management engine may identify and suggest mappings to users based on similar documents that have been previously mapped. The database management engine identifies similar documents using information about the document, the user, and the mapping itself. The mapping associated with the most similar document may be provided to the user as a suggested mapping. The database management engine converts the form document and finalized mapping into a fillable digital document. The fillable digital document is sent to recipients, who complete the fillable digital document.

Abstract: A sheet discharge device includes: a sheet discharge portion; a sheet stacking portion having a sheet stacking surface for stacking a sheet discharged from the sheet discharge portion; and a stopper in the sheet stacking portion against which, for alignment, the leading end of the sheet discharged from the sheet discharge portion is thrust. The stopper has a support portion, a restricting portion, and an urging mechanism. The restricting portion is supported pivotally on a pivot shaft on the support portion, and is arranged either in a retracted position to lie flat substantially horizontally along the sheet stacking surface or in a restricting position to stand upright substantially vertically to the sheet stacking surface. The urging mechanism urges the restricting portion, when in retracted position, in a direction from restricting position to retracted position and, when in restricting position, in a direction from retracted position to restricting position.

Abstract: A radio frequency connection between a far field voice detection device and a further device is used to determine a first angular direction from the far field voice detection device to the further device. The determined first angular direction is then used to emphasize, during a noise processing of a plurality of sounds received via use of a plurality of microphones of the far field voice detection device, a first one of the plurality of sounds relative to a remainder of the plurality of sounds.

Abstract: The present document describes a polyamide hot-melt resin having a chemical structure consisting of dimerized fatty acids and diamines, loaded with an active ingredient. The dimerized fatty acids may have 12 to 24 carbons and the diamines may have 2 to 14 carbons. The amine residual functional groups and acid residual functional groups within the polyamide hot-melt resin may have a [NH2]/[COOH] molar ratio below 5, and the active ingredient may be incorporated in quantities of between about 0.01 and about 55% by weight of weight of the resin. The present document also describes items molded from the polyamide hot-melt resins, and processes of preparing the polyamide hot-melt resins.

The latch includes a pawl configured to engage the battery housing. Abstract: A method for providing electromagnetic shielding of a semiconductor die includes attaching a semiconductor die to a package substrate of a packaged radio frequency module, where the package substrate includes one or more radio frequency circuits fabricated therein. The method also includes encapsulating the semiconductor die with a molding compound. The method also includes at least partially covering the molding compound with an electromagnetic shielding structure having an outer layer including cobalt. A phone board assembly can include the packaged radio frequency module attached to a printed circuit board. The packaged radio frequency module can be incorporated into a mobile device.

Abstract: This disclosure describes a technique for performing random access in a pool of polynucleotides by using one unique primer and one homopolymer primer to selectively amplify some but not all of the polynucleotides in the pool. The polynucleotides are synthesized by a template independent polymerase such as terminal deoxynucleotide transferase (TdT) rather than by phosphoramidite synthesis. Enzymatic synthesis efficiently creates homopolymer sequences through unregulated synthesis. Use of one homopolymer primer instead of two unique primers decreases the complexity, time, and cost of synthesizing the polynucleotides. Use of a unique primer provides a sequence that can be varied to uniquely identify multiple different groups of polynucleotides. This enables random access by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) amplification while still benefitting from the efficiency of homopolymer synthesis. The polynucleotides may include payload regions that use a sequence of nucleotides to encode digital data.

Abstract: A robotic surgical system can include an end effector coupled to a robotic arm. A reamer operable to ream bone can be coupled to the end effector (e.g., via a retainer). The reamer can include a primary driveshaft and a cutting head. The primary driveshaft can be rotatable about a first axis of rotation and the cutting head can be rotatable about a second axis of rotation, for example parallel to and offset from the first axis of rotation.

Abstract: A receiver includes a variable resolution analog-to-digital converter (ADC) and variable resolution processing logic/circuitry. The processing logic may use feed-forward equalization (FFE) techniques to process the outputs from the ADC. When receiving data from a channel having low attenuation, distortion, and/or noise, the ADC and processing logic may be configured to sample and process the received signal using fewer bits, and therefore less logic, than when configured to receiving data from a channel having a higher attenuation, distortion, and/or noise. Thus, the number of (valid) bits output by the ADC, and subsequently processed (e.g., for FFE equalization) can be reduced when a receiver of this type is coupled to a low loss channel. These reductions can reduce power consumption when compared to operating the receiver using the full (i.e., maximum) number of bits the ADC and processing logic is capable of processing.

Abstract: A shutter system for use in a vehicle. The shutter system comprises a panel mounted on a conduit through which air flows, the panel having a first plurality of apertures for permitting air to flow therethrough; and a grille movably mounted on a surface of the panel, the grille having a second plurality of apertures for permitting air to flow therethrough. In an open position, the grille is aligned with the panel such that the first and second plurality of apertures are aligned to permit air to flow through both the first and second plurality of apertures. In a closed position, the grille is aligned with the panel such that the first and second plurality of apertures are not aligned and air is blocked from flowing through the first and second plurality of apertures. The shutter system comprises a first actuator mechanism coupled to the panel and the grille and comprising a first bias spring and a first shape-memory alloy (SMA) spring.
