    Abstract: A package assembly includes a circuit substrate, a top-emitting (TE) vertical cavity surface emitting laser (VCSEL) die having a two-dimensional (2D) matrix addressable emitter array, and a driver integrated circuit (IC) having a flip-chip interconnect configuration. The TE-VCSEL die and the driver IC are coupled together to form a die stack that is mounted to the circuit substrate, with the TE-VCSEL die arranged between the driver IC and the circuit substrate. TE-VCSEL die comprises an optical output arranged at a main surface coupled to the driver IC. The optical output is configured to output light generated by one or more emitters of the emitter array. Thus, the TE-VCSEL die is configured to emit light away from the circuit substrate.

    Abstract: A webbing height adjusting device and a webbing height adjusting unit thereof is applied in a three-point seat belt system. The webbing height adjusting unit has an adjuster base, a slider, an elastic member for actuating the adjuster base and the slider to clamp an object, and an outer shell disposed on the adjuster base. The webbing height adjusting device has a supplementary webbing and a D-loop connected to each other and disposed in a vehicle. The webbing height adjusting unit is connected to a main webbing in the three-point seat belt system to form an adjustable top position and clamps the supplementary webbing. Increase of a tension of the main webbing enhances clamping of the webbing height adjusting unit. The adjuster base and the slider are simple and convenient in operation to unclamp the supplementary webbing and adjust a height position of the webbing height adjusting unit.

The approach includes receiving input data including an input image of a utility asset, the input image including one or more objects. Deep neural networks are configured to generate embeddings for classification labels of the one or more objects, each embedding corresponding to a classification label and including a mapping between the classification label and a subset of feature vectors. Defect classifiers are configured to determine a likelihood of an object from the one or more objects in the input image containing a type of defect. Each defect classifier is trained to determine a type of defect based on the embeddings for the one or more classification labels. The approach includes generating an output image that includes bounding boxes for the objects and an annotation corresponding a respective object from the objects.

The computing device also predicts, at a second machine learning model, claim severity of the set of claim transactions during the given time period, the second machine learning model trained using historical severity data and based on the segment type and the corresponding peril types.
