  • Publication number: 20250071379
Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, apparatus, article of manufacture, method and/or computer program product embodiments, and/or combinations and sub-combinations thereof, for ad insertion by a display device coupled to a media device via a high-definition media interface (HDMI) connection, where the media device provides media content and/or a control signal. When the media device pauses the media content, the display device can determine that a pause event has occurred and insert an ad shown on the display device. Further, some embodiments include determining the context and/or content of the media content that is paused, and determining an ad that is customized to the determined context and/or content to be displayed on the display device. In some embodiments, the display device can determine additional information from the control signal that may also be used to determine the ad to be displayed on the display device.

  • Publication number: 20250070820
Abstract: A power supply system (1001) according to the present disclosure supplies power to a relay apparatus (2) on a branching submarine cable branched from a trunk submarine cable by a branching apparatus (1). The power supply system (1001) according to the present disclosure supplies power to the relay apparatus (2) by a branching power supply path (BE) connected to a trunk power supply path (TE) provided in a trunk submarine cable. When power is supplied to the relay apparatus (2), the branching power supply path (BE) causes a current flowing from one side of the trunk submarine cable to flow to the relay apparatus (2), and then causes the current to turns back so that the current flows to the other side of the trunk submarine cable.

  • Publication number: 20250064771
Abstract: The invention comprises a process and composition relating to the use of an artificial blood that is a pharmaceutically acceptable solution of an iron amino acid chelate. The composition is directed to a hemoglobin free artificial blood composition made from one or more amino acids known to be bound to the hemoglobin molecule but free of hemoglobin for purposes of this invention. The hemoglobin free amino acids are chelated with iron [ferrous or ferric], oxygenated, and used as an artificial blood replacement for whole blood or as a component of an artificial blood composition. The iron component of the amino acid chelate is oxygenated to enable the chelate to carry oxygen throughout the body. To form a solution suitable for transfusion, the oxygen bearing iron chelate of the amino acid is dissolved, to the extent necessary, preferably in an isotonic saline solution.

  • Publication number: 20250065079
Abstract: A catheter including an inner liner, a reinforcement layer disposed about the inner liner and having a distal edge separated a predetermined axial distance in a proximal direction from the distal end of the inner liner. The reinforcement layer having a discrete annealed section with an altered crystalline structure having modified (e.g., decreased) stiffness relative to non-annealed sections of the reinforcement layer. A marker band is positioned over or adjacent to the distal edge of the reinforcement layer. An outer jacket is disposed about an interim assembled structure including the inner liner, the reinforcement layer, and the marker band to form an assembled structure. During manufacture, heat is applied to reflow together individual components of the assembled structure producing an integral composite catheter shaft.

  • Publication number: 20250069341
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to techniques for inserting imagery from a real environment into a virtual environment. While presenting (e.g., displaying) the virtual environment at an electronic device, a proximity of the electronic device to a physical object located in a real environment is detected. In response to detecting that the proximity of the electronic device to the physical object is less than a first threshold distance, imagery of the physical object is isolated from other imagery of the real environment. The isolated imagery of the physical object is inserted into the virtual environment at a location corresponding to the location of the physical object in the real environment. The imagery of the physical object has a first visibility value associated with the proximity of the electronic device to the physical object.
