Abstract: A control circuit for an illumination module in a vehicle includes an input channel for receiving a pulse width modulated (PWM) signal, a filter configured to extract information received by the input channel, one or more first light sources, one or more second light sources, a first output channel which is adapted to control on and off states of the one or more first light sources depending on the extracted information, and a second output channel which is adapted to control on and off states of the one or more second light source connected to the second output channel depending on the extracted information, and an electronic circuit connected to the first output channel and including a circuit carrier which includes the one or more first light sources, and at least one circuit connection mounted to the circuit carrier.

Abstract: A polymeric substrate and a method of providing same includes providing a protection system of one or more layers on at least one first surface of the polymeric substrate, coating a spectrally controlling system on a surface of the protection system to provide an external surface, the spectrally controlling system comprising at least a light absorbing or a light reflecting layer, partially removing the spectrally controlling system from the external surface until reaching the at least one first surface of the protection system creating in the spectrally controlling system an area free of the light absorbing or light reflecting layer of the spectrally controlling system, and covering the area by depositing at least one or more substances in droplets.

Abstract: A vehicular component includes at least one light source disposed at least partially within an interior of the vehicular component and configured to emit light based on at least receiving electrical power from an electrical power source. The vehicular component further includes a transparent polymeric portion substantially enclosing the interior and the at least one light source. The transparent polymeric portion has an inner surface, an outer surface disposed opposite the inner surface and a chromium-based reflective coating coated on the outer surface. With the at least one light source receiving electrical power from the electrical power source, the chromium-based reflective coating is at least partially permeable to at least some light which is emitted by the at least one light source and passed through the transparent polymeric portion. At least one area of the outer surface of the transparent polymeric portion is devoid of the chromium-based reflective coating.

Abstract: A method displays information graphically on an image captured by an optical system used to simulate a rear-view mirror system of a vehicle. The method includes capturing the image and identifying an object in the image. The method the assigns a priority level to the object based on a predetermined criterion. The object is altered based on its priority level to create an altered object. An altered object may have a changed color, a colored halo surrounding it, or a colored object inside it. Other possible ways to alter the way the object looks are possible. The altered object is displayed in the image in place of the object to alert a vehicle operator of its presence and the priority level associated therewith.

Abstract: A rearview device including a housing, a bezel and a rearview element used for vehicles. In one embodiment the bezel includes a transparent or chrome-based coating as to allow one or more lighting assemblies positioned in or beneath the bezel to illuminate the surrounding and provide different functions to the driver or other persons. For example, different indicator functions can be provided. Different electronic means may be placed in or beneath the bezel to optimize the used space inside the rearview device.

Abstract: A dental coloring stamp has a transfer pad for transferring a dental coloring solution to a precursor of a dental restoration. The transfer pad is at least partially formed of an open-celled elastic sponge and has a free transfer surface. The cross-section of the transfer pad is greater than a circular area of 10 mm in diameter so that a side of a dental restoration precursor can be stamped and thus colored. The invention helps facilitating the coloring of dental restorations.

Abstract: Provided herein are, inter alia, nucleic acid conjugates including a non-cell penetrating ribonucleic acid compound attached at its 3? end to a phosphorothioate polymer. Attachment of the phosphorothioate polymer to the non-cell penetrating ribonucleic acid conveys stability to and allows for efficient intracellular delivery of the non-cell penetrating ribonucleic acid. The nucleic acid conjugates provided herein including embodiments thereof are useful, inter alia, for the treatment of cancer, inflammatory disease, and pain.
