  • Publication number: 20240326247
Abstract: Disclosed techniques for graph generation for online path planning offer multiple advantages, such as providing for high-quality motion during online operation of the robot, while reducing the computational burden of graph generation. Achieving these competing goals involves reducing the dimensionality of the graph generation problem by performing unconstrained sampling that defines partial robot poses that set values for fewer than all configuration parameters of the robot. The remaining configuration parameters for each sample are then determined in dependence on a distance function that relates the partial pose to one or more reference robot poses that are associated with one or more tasks to be performed by the robot and are provided as inputs to the graph generation. Reference robot poses may be determined automatically based on computer analysis of the robot application or may be user-input values.

  • Publication number: 20240326244
Abstract: Methods and systems are described for determining the contact state of a robotic arm and the contact forces between the robotic arm and its environment, without the use of additional add-on sensors, such force or torque sensors. One or more embodiments involve initiating response actions of the robot arm based on the inferred contact state or contact force, to execute a desired application. Example response actions include actuation of an end effector of the robotic arm, such as for object placement.

  • Publication number: 20240326245
Abstract: Disclosed techniques embody advantageous approaches to online task and motion planning for robots, based on the decomposition of robot tasks into subtasks having attached attributes that, among other things, indicate whether dynamic trajectory modification is permitted during subtask execution. The decomposition and attribute tagging allows for hybrid motion control during task execution, for example, with some subtasks allowing for reactive motion planning for collision avoidance, and other subtasks disallowing reactive motion. Collision avoidance for non-reactive subtasks involves, for example, coordinating volume reservations within an involved robot work cell, to prevent other robots from interfering with a robot engaged in a subtask designated as non-reactive. Determination of which subtasks are non-reactive relies on information included in an input task specification and may be based on user analysis or automated analysis of the involved robot application.

  • Publication number: 20240294836
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to novel demulsifying agents obtained from the functionalization of random bipolymers based on alkyl acrylate and aminoalkyl acrylate with different acrylic derivatives, using the aza-Michael addition reaction. The amphoteric random acrylic bipolymers were evaluated as demulsifying agents for crude oils with API densities between 10 and 40° API, showing superior performance as breakers, coalescers and clarifiers than the non-functionalized acrylic bipolymer and a commercial formulation based on polyethers.

  • Publication number: 20240267408
Abstract: A cloud-native global file system, in which one or more filers are associated with a volume of a versioned files system in a private, public or hybrid cloud object store, is augmented to include a rapid ransomware recovery service. Upon detecting a ransomware attack associated with one or more files or directories of the volume, read and write access to the volume is restricted. A recovery filer is then activated or designated in the cloud. A restore operation is then initiated at the recovery filter. Following completion of the restore operation, a new clean (healthy) snapshot of the volume is then created using the recovery filer For any filer other than the recovery filer, a determination is made whether the filer has completed a merge operation with respect to the new clean snapshot. If so, read and write access to the volume is re-enabled from that filer.

  • Publication number: 20240073225
Abstract: A system and a method are disclosed for detecting a malicious website. In an embodiment, a computing device detects a uniform resource locator (URL) referencing an unknown website; pre-processes the URL to determine a first probability that the unknown website is malicious; and inputs the first probability into a machine learning model to receive a second probability that the unknown website is malicious. The machine learning model is trained using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificates of known legitimate websites and known malicious websites. The computing device further determines whether the second probability is associated with at least a threshold risk. Responsive to the second probability being associated with at least the threshold risk, the computing device causes a graphical user interface of a client device to display a notification indicating a level of risk associated with the unknown website.

  • Patent number: 11853726
Abstract: Systems, devices, and methods for software development or modification. Systems transform interactions with physical blocks by a human developer on an activity surface into computer-understandable digital information or logic for developing or modifying software (e.g., websites or mobile applications) in real-time or near real-time. The physical blocks are representative of software elements used in software development. For example, the structures, colors, shapes or hardness/softness/squeeze/bend/flex/elastic/shape-memory/rigid properties, whether symmetrical or asymmetrical, whether open-shaped or close-shaped of the physical blocks can determine which software elements are being developed and the arrangement of the blocks can be mapped to how the software elements are to be included in the software. Users located remotely from the developer can provide annotations or feedback to the software being developed in real-time.

  • Publication number: 20230409433
Abstract: A versioned file system comprises a set of structured data representations. At a first time, an interface creates and exports to a cloud data store a first structured data representation corresponding to a first version of the local file system. The first structured data representation is an XML tree having a root element, one or more directory elements associated with the root element, and one or more file elements associated with a given directory element. Upon a change within the file system, the interface creates and exports a second structured data representation corresponding to a second version of the file system. The second structured data representation differs from the first structured data representation up to and including the root element of the second structured data representation. The interface continues to generate and export the structured data representations to the data store.

  • Patent number: 11811794
Abstract: The technology disclosed provides systems and methods related to preventing exfiltration of training data by feature reconstruction attacks on model instances trained on the training data during a training job. The system comprises a privacy interface that presents a plurality of modulators for a plurality of training parameters. The modulators are configured to respond to selection commands via the privacy interface to trigger procedural calls. The procedural calls modify corresponding training parameters in the plurality of training parameters for respective training cycles in the training job. The system comprises a trainer configured to execute the training cycles in dependence on the modified training parameters. The trainer can determine a performance accuracy of the model instances for each of the executed training cycles.

  • Publication number: 20230350844
Abstract: A technique for data sharing among multiple filers that share a volume in a private or public cloud object store is implemented. In this approach, a mechanism is provided to enable a local filer to determine whether other filers that are sharing the volume have a consistent view of new data being written to the cloud object store by the local filer. The begins by associating together a collection of one or more files in a “push class.” On demand, a push operation for the push class is initiated on the local filer. Preferably, the push is managed according to one or more push criteria associated with the push class. Typically, the push operation pushes file data and metadata associated with the one or more files of the push class in respective phases, with the file data being pushed to the cloud during a first phase and the metadata associated with that file data being pushed during a second phase that follows the first phase.
