  • Patent number: 10409317
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure are directed to reducing clock-ungating induced voltage droop by determining a maximum frequency value associated with an output clock waveform; modulating a clock frequency of the output clock waveform for a first time duration based on a first programmable mask pattern or a first Boolean function; and determining if either the first programmable mask pattern or the first Boolean function should be changed. In accordance with one aspect, a voltage droop mitigation circuit includes a control logic for receiving an input clock waveform and a clock enable signal waveform and for outputting a gated clock enable signal waveform; a latch coupled to the control logic, the latch for holding a state of the gated clock enable signal waveform and a AND gate coupled to the latch, the AND gate for outputting an output clock waveform.

  • Patent number: 10369079
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention involve a refill apparatus comprising at least one pump, a plurality of reservoirs, a plurality of reservoir fluid channels each associated with one of the reservoirs, a plurality of valves, each having a cracking pressure, for fluidically sealing the reservoir fluid channels and the outlet fluid channel, an outlet fluid channel fluidically connected to the reservoir fluid channels, and a needle having a lumen in fluid communication with the outlet fluid channel. A parameter such as a pressure level is monitored, and one or more pumps and various ones of the valves are actuated in accordance with a protocol comprising a sequence of steps whereby fluidic pathways are opened between different ones of the reservoirs and the needle in a washing and filling sequence, each of the steps being associated with an expected pressure level.

  • Patent number: 10258480
Abstract: A spacer formed of an intermetallic compound, such as nitinol. The spacer includes at least two segments shaped in opposing arches. The unique properties of the intermetallic compound enable the material to be deformed into a planar, insertable shape when the material is cooled below a transition temperature and returns to the undeformed shape when the material returns to an ambient, operational temperature. An expansion mechanism assembly engages with the spacer to apply an expansion force, extending the spacer longitudinally drawing the spacer into the planar configuration. The expansion mechanism assembly can be used to guide the spacer into the desired position within the patient. The spacer control mechanism assembly is subsequently removed, relieving the expansion force, returning the spacer to the natural un-deformed, arched shape as it returns to body temperature. Retention features can be integrated in the spacer to aid in retaining the spacer in location.

  • Publication number: 20180271620
Abstract: A method of forming an aligner includes dipping a positive mold of teeth in a liquid material to form a liquid layer and curing the liquid layer to form a shell. The shell may include an inner layer including material from the liquid material and an outer layer including material from another liquid material. Prior to dipping the mold in the liquid material, features may be coupled to the layer. The features may be selected from the group consisting of an archwire, a sensor, and a bracket. The mold includes model teeth and a gingival margin on a base. Dipping may be to a predefined depth. A fluid level of the material is positioned proximate the gingival margin. The fluid level may define the edge of the shell. A set of aligners including at least one aligner having an edge that defines an opening and the edge is as-formed.

  • Publication number: 20170357549
Abstract: A versioned file system comprises a set of structured data representations. At a first time, an interface creates and exports to a cloud data store a first structured data representation corresponding to a first version of the local file system. The first structured data representation is an XML tree having a root element, one or more directory elements associated with the root element, and one or more file elements associated with a given directory element. Upon a change within the file system, the interface creates and exports a second structured data representation corresponding to a second version of the file system. The second structured data representation differs from the first structured data representation up to and including the root element of the second structured data representation. The interface continues to generate and export the structured data representations to the data store.

  • Patent number: 9814543
Abstract: A method of manufacturing an orthodontic appliance includes plating a first pattern of a material on a substrate to define a layer. Repeating plating of the first material one or more times forms an additional pattern. A layered structure is built up and forms a portion of the orthodontic appliance. A pattern of a second material different from a first material may be plated on the substrate or on a pattern of the first material. The material may be a sacrificial material that may be later removed. The orthodontic appliance may be an archwire or a self-ligating orthodontic bracket having one or more layered structures formed by plating patterns of the material. Plating may include plating patterns of materials so as to form a movable member in place relative to a bracket body.

  • Publication number: 20170161270
Abstract: An interface between an existing local file system and a data store generates and exports to the data store a versioned file system. The state of the local file system at a given point in time can be determined using the versioned file system. In operation, the interface creates and exports to the data store structured data representations, which correspond to versions of the local file system, as well as actual file system data that these structured data representations represent. A cache associated with the interface stores recently used data and metadata, as well as all write data and metadata waiting to be transferred to the data store. Prior to transfer, one or more data transformations may be applied to the data and metadata. In one embodiment, the data store comprises one or more cloud storage service providers. A content control system is used to configure and manage the interface.

  • Publication number: 20160184056
Abstract: An orthodontic bracket for coupling an archwire with a tooth comprises a bracket body configured to be mounted to the tooth and a clip. A clip slot extends through the bracket body transversely to the archwire slot. Upon deflection of the clip, it contacts the bracket body at locations that were not in contact before the deflection. The clip may also have various forms and include various structures that cooperate with the body when the clip is deflected to restrict or stop the deflection. The orthodontic bracket may comprise a securing mechanism that is configured to secure the resilient ligating clip in the closed position. A method of manufacturing a shaped unsintered body for use in manufacturing an orthodontic bracket is provided. A portion of the sinterable particles may be removed using a stream of energy to yield a plurality of posts which are then deformed.

  • Patent number: 9308001
Abstract: The instant invention describes a surgical tool for providing cavitations, or void spots, within the interior of body regions. The surgical tool is constructed and arranged to penetrate almost all interior body regions in which formation of a cavity or void space is necessary for diagnostic or treatment purposes. The surgical tool comprises an insertable member receiving structure sized and shaped to receive one or more insertable devices. The interior lumen of the insertable member receiving structure allows the insertable device to slide and/or rotate relative to the insertable member receiving structure and vice versa. At least one insertable member is a cavity forming device which has a plurality of cavity forming members constructed and arranged with spring-like characteristics for traversing between a cavity forming position and a non-cavity forming position. Upon traversal back to the cavity forming position, the displacement members retain their cavity forming structural configurations.
