  • Patent number: 5566992
Abstract: A hatch dog handle mechanism includes a rotatable hub assembly which includes a handle, a locking lug. A locking plate or portion of the frame is also provided for engagement by the locking lug. The locking lug is rotatable about a central axis through a limited arc by the handle. The handle is also rotatable through a limited are about a second axis which is perpendicular to the first axis. The mechanism also includes a locking element to prevent rotation of the handle about the second axis and a second locking element to prevent rotation of the handle about the first axis when in a first position with respect to the second axis.

  • Patent number: 4953865
Abstract: A putt practice device includes an elongated, thin, planar base having a carpeted upper surface, a putting end, and a target end. A pair of spaced rows of pegs extend upwardly from the planar base. Caps consisting of cut off golf tees having holes drilled into their lower ends are placed on the two rows of pegs, defining a putting path along which a sufficiently accurately putted golf ball can roll without touching any of the modified golf tees on either side. A removable ball stop is attached to a pair of the pegs at the target end of the putt practice device. The putt practice device also can be utilized on a putting green by removing the ball stop, and aiming the longitudinal axis of the putt practice device toward a hole on the putting green. If the surface of the putting green is sloped, the orientation of the practice putting device can be aimed to one side or the other of the target hole to compensate for slope in the putting green surface.

  • Patent number: 4653958
Abstract: A kit for forming a secondary confinement installation for protecting earth from contamination due to leakage and spills from pipelines in small installations, such as service stations. The kit includes long trough sections and short connector sections with joints therebetween which maintain a level floor. The connector sections may have various shapes, such as right angle sections, half-right angle sections, T-sections, as well as a few special purpose sections. The special purpose sections include a sump section located at the low point of the installation, a dispenser unit section intended to provide catch basis for fluid dispensers and box sections which protect pipe egress zones at storage tanks.
