  • Publication number: 20160206117
Abstract: A product display member for use on a shelf includes a pusher configured to urge products toward a proximal portion of a shelf. The shelf defines a longitudinal axis extending between a proximal end of the shelf and a distal end of the shelf. A portion of the pusher is movable between a first orientation where the portion of the pusher is generally perpendicular to the longitudinal axis and a second orientation where the portion of the pusher is disposed at an acute angle with respect to the longitudinal axis.

  • Publication number: 20160086676
Abstract: A method of improving radiation tolerance of floating gate memories is provided herein. Floating gate memories can include a floating gate transistor or a block of floating gate transistors. A floating gate transistor can include a semiconductor region, a source region, a drain region, a floating gate region, a tunnel oxide region, an oxide-nitride-oxide region, and a control gate region. A floating gate transistor or block of floating gate transistors can be written to multiple times in order to accumulate charge on one or more floating gate regions in accordance with an embodiment of the invention. When exposed to radiation, a floating gate region can retain its charge above a certain voltage threshold. A block of floating gate transistors can communicate with an external device where the external device can read a state of the block of floating gate transistors in accordance with an embodiment of the invention.

  • Patent number: 9140384
Abstract: A method and connecting apparatus for attaching a pipeline termination assembly to a subsea structure. The pipeline termination assembly has a pivot axis member and the subsea structure has one or more capture slots to receive it. The pivot axis member is captured in the capture slot, the slot allowing vertical movement of the pipeline termination assembly. The pipeline termination assembly is rotated about the pivot axis to assume a horizontal position. In the horizontal position, the capture slot permits horizontal movement of the pipeline termination assembly. A capture device mounted on the subsea structure provides the capture slots. At least a part of the capture device is moved with respect to the subsea structure to retain the pivot axis member in the capture slot on rotating the pipeline termination assembly about the pivot axis.

  • Publication number: 20150058994
Abstract: A system and methods for detecting intrusions in the operation of a computer system comprises a sensor configured to gather information regarding the operation of the computer system, to format the information in a data record having a predetermined format, and to transmit the data in the predetermined data format. A data warehouse is configured to receive the data record from the sensor in the predetermined data format and to store the data in a SQL database. A detection model generator is configured to request data records from the data warehouse in the predetermined data format, to generate an intrusion detection model based on said data records, and to transmit the intrusion detection model to the data warehouse according to the predetermined data format. A detector is configured to receive a data record in the predetermined data format from the sensor and to classify the data record in real-time as one of normal operation and an attack based on said intrusion detection model.

  • Patent number: 8694406
Abstract: The present invention is directed to an alternative method for gauging market participant behavior, which is identified herein as “Market Barometer.” In one embodiment, Market Barometer is based on the recent performance ranks of particular equity strategy indices as compared to their historical ranks. Significant deviations from historical ranks is a predictor of market performance over subsequent near term time periods, for example, a subsequent month and, in turn, these deviations can be used to estimate the current market expected return. Empirical tests reveal that expected market returns vary over time in line with Market Barometer readings.
