Additionally is described, a deflectometry device that is part of a deterministic finishing machine comprising a display, an imaging optic, a stop, and a camera imaging assembly including a camera lens and a camera. Additionally, a method for characterizing material removal created by a deterministic finishing machine is provided.

Abstract: A fluid dispenser with a fluid pump for dispensing fluid on movement of an actuator, and an air pump for delivering a stream of air through at least one sound generator on movement of the actuator. The sound generator produces at least two sounds as the actuator is moved from a first position to a second position, with each sound produced in a different time period during a cycle of operation, or differing from the other sound in respect of one or more detectable sound characteristics, such as duration, frequency, temporal alignment, amplitude, and/or timbre. The time period of each sound is a function of the relative location of the actuator between the first and second positions.

Abstract: This disclosure relates to methods of promoting immune responses against HIV and compositions related thereto. In certain embodiments, this disclosure relates to methods of vaccinating for HIV comprising administering to the subject a priming composition followed by a boosting composition. In certain embodiments, the priming composition comprises a recombinant virus such as recombinant MVA that encodes an Env protein of HIV or segment thereof. In certain embodiments, the boosting composition comprises a trimeric cyclically permuted gp120 chimeric protein reported herein or DNA encoding the same.

Abstract: A method of removing CO from a mixture of CO and saturated and unsaturated hydrocarbons CO to CO2 is provided. In one embodiment, the method is to contact feed stream with an oxygen transfer agent; and then oxidize at least a portion of the CO to CO2 to produce a stream enriched in CO2. The saturated and unsaturated hydrocarbons in the feed are not further oxidized during the oxidation. The oxygen transfer agent includes at least one of: i) water; ii) at least one reducible metal oxide; iii) at least one reducible chalcogen; or mixtures thereof. In another embodiment, the CO is converted to methane. The unsaturated hydrocarbons in the feed are not hydrogenated. In both of these alternatives, the CO2 or methane are then removed. Systems for removing the CO are also provided.

Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a method for processing an advertising request message, including, receiving an advertising request message from a mobile device, determining if an advertising exchange server associated with the advertising request is permitted to receive enhanced information associated with the mobile device if a service provider is permitted to provide location information associated with the mobile device responsive to determining that the advertising exchange server associated with the advertising request is permitted to receive the enhanced information, responsive to determining that the service provider is permitted to provide location information, adding location information associated with the mobile device to a header of the advertising request message, and transmitting the advertising request message to the advertising exchange server. Abstract: A speaker device incorporating acoustic meta materials for sound diffraction reduction wherein the meta materials have a plurality of channels to dampen sound waves. Meta materials are applied to the speaker unit, serve as structural components of a speaker baffle, waveguide, and/or cone. The meta materials have openings in them to permit sound waves to enter and positioned at the edges of the speaker cabinet to prevent sound waves from re-radiating and interfering with the sound waves intended for the listener.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes receiving an interaction identifier by a processor and in response to an input entered by a user at a first user interface of a mobile device. The input is associated with a frame within a page displayed at the first user interface. The method further includes receiving interaction information and application deeplinking purchase information associated with the purchase identifier and determining a uniform resource identifier (URI) of a second user interface at the mobile device. The second user interface is different from the first user interface. The method includes sending a signal, based on the URI, to cause the second user interface to be rendered at the mobile device with the interaction information pre-populated to complete an interaction requested by the user.

The method includes applying a composition to a hydrocarbon containing the foulant. The composition includes an effective amount of a reaction product of an ?-olefin/maleic anhydride copolymer and an amino-hydroxy compound. The foulants may include wax and asphaltenes, for example.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to demulsifier compositions and methods of resolving emulsions using the compositions. The demulsifiers include modified hydroxy-succinimide copolymers. For example, the demulsifiers may include ethoxylated or propoxylated hydroxy-succinimide copolymers. The demulsifier compositions are useful for resolving oil-in-water, water-in-oil, and complex emulsions of water and oil.

Abstract: In the present system and method, a conduit from a LC device continuously transports solvent, buffers, and analytes to the inlet of a solvent removal and analyte conversion device which evaporates the solvents, leaving non-volatile analytes for detection. The device comprises a rotating disk. The liquid chromatograph device can be any device using liquid chromatography to separate molecules. The solvents in the LC effluent can include, but are not limited to, water, methanol, acetonitrile, tetrahydrofuran, and acetone. After removal of the volatile components, the non-volatile analytes are converted with a concentrated energy source so that they may be detectable.
