  • Publication number: 20220365044
Abstract: In the present system and method, a conduit from a LC device continuously transports solvent, buffers, and analytes to the inlet of a solvent removal and analyte conversion device which evaporates the solvents, leaving non-volatile analytes for detection. The device comprises a rotating disk. The liquid chromatograph device can be any device using liquid chromatography to separate molecules. The solvents in the LC effluent can include, but are not limited to, water, methanol, acetonitrile, tetrahydrofuran, and acetone. After removal of the volatile components, the non-volatile analytes are converted with a concentrated energy source so that they may be detectable.

  • Patent number: 11491287
Abstract: The present invention provides for the integration of drug dispersion methods into a drug or medicine delivery system. The drug dispersion methods used include shear (e.g., air across a drug, with or without a gas assist), capillary flow or a venturi effect, mechanical means such as spinning, vibration, or impaction, and turbulence (e.g., using mesh screens, or restrictions in the air path). These methods of drug dispersion allow for all of the drug in the system to be released, allowing control of the dosage size. These methods also provide for drug metering, fluidization, entrainment, deaggragation and deagglomeration. The present invention also provides for the integration of a drug sealing system into the device. The drug sealing system provides a way of blocking the migration of drug from one area of the package to another.

  • Patent number: 11486304
Abstract: An actuator assembly for a variable turbine geometry (VTG) turbocharger is disclosed. The actuator assembly may include an actuator and an actuator linkage having a first end coupled to the actuator and a second end defining a linkage joint. The actuator assembly may further include a VTG lever having a ball stud bore extending through the VTG lever. Additionally, the actuator assembly may include a ball stud including a first end partially disposed within the linkage joint and a second threaded end extending axially through the ball stud bore. Furthermore, a nut may be aligned with the ball stud bore and movably attached to the VTG lever prior to extending the ball stud through the ball stud bore, wherein the ball stud engages with the nut and fastens the ball stud to the VTG lever to operatively couple the VTG lever to the actuator linkage.

  • Patent number: 11474597
Abstract: A multiview autostereoscopic display includes a display area including an array of angular pixels, an eye tracker, and a processing system. Each angular pixel emits color that varies across a field of view of that angular pixel. The array of angular pixels displays different views in different viewing zones across the field of view of the display. The eye tracker detects the presence of the eyes of at least one viewer within specific viewing zones and produces eye tracking information including locations of the detected eyes within the specific viewing zones. The processing system renders a specific view for each detected eye based upon the location of the detected eye within the viewing zone with detected eyes, and generates control information for the array of angular pixels to cause the specific view for each detected eye to be displayed in the viewing zone in which that eye was detected.
