  • Patent number: 10859543
Abstract: Provided is a system comprising a conduit from a gas chromatograph column to a single reactor comprising a Fe, Co, Pt, Ni, Rh, Pd and/or Ru catalyst(s), with hydrogen and oxygen feed conduits for providing hydrogen and oxygen to the reactor, and a conduit from the reactor to an FID detector. This allows one to practice a method for the detection and quantification of organic molecules from a gas chromatograph which comprises passing the effluent from a gas chromatograph column to a reactor comprising a Fe, Co, Pt, Ni, Rh, Pd and/or Ru catalyst; adding hydrogen and air/oxygen to the reactor; reacting the effluent from the gas chromatograph column in the reactor to sequentially oxidize then reduce all organic containing molecules to CH4 by heating to an elevated temperature, and passing the reactor effluent to an FID.

  • Patent number: 10843214
Abstract: A one-way valve assembly including a chamber forming body and a valve forming body. The chamber forming body has an opening that extends along an axis and a radially outwardly directed catch surface. The valve forming body extends through the opening, and has an inner sealing disc that is positioned axially inwardly from the opening and has a radially inwardly directed catching surface. The disc is movable between a closed position and an open position. When the sealing disc is at the closed position, the catching surface is positioned radially outwardly from the catch surface in radial alignment with the catch surface so that, if the catching surface were forced radially inwardly, the catch surface would engage with the catching surface to prevent the catching surface from passing axially outwardly through the opening.

  • Patent number: 10806958
Abstract: A trampoline includes a jumping mat, a supporting frame, and a plurality of levers. The supporting frame is located proximal a jumping periphery of the jumping mat. The plurality of levers circumextend the jumping periphery. Each of the plurality of levers includes a rigid element connected to the supporting frame. The rigid element includes a jump mat end and a frame end. The rigid element pivots about a fulcrum connected to and supported by the supporting frame. The jump mat end is connected to the jumping mat at a jumping mat connection located proximal the jumping periphery. A tensioner is connected between the lever at a tensioner attachment and the supporting frame. Each lever and tensioner is configured to apply tension to the jumping mat in the form of a force applied against the jumping periphery of the jumping mat in a direction away from the jumping mat.

  • Publication number: 20200254198
Abstract: The present invention provides for the integration of drug dispersion methods into a drug or medicine delivery system. The drug dispersion methods used include shear (e.g., air across a drug, with or without a gas assist), capillary flow or a venturi effect, mechanical means such as spinning, vibration, or impaction, and turbulence (e.g., using mesh screens, or restrictions in the air path). These methods of drug dispersion allow for all of the drug in the system to be released, allowing control of the dosage size. These methods also provide for drug metering, fluidization, entrainment, deaggragation and deagglomeration. The present invention also provides for the integration of a drug sealing system into the device. The drug sealing system provides a way of blocking the migration of drug from one area of the package to another.

  • Publication number: 20200113392
Abstract: A fluid dispenser having a pump mechanism that dispenses a dose of fluid when a movable pump member of the pump mechanism is moved between a selected extended position and a retracted position. The fluid dispenser includes a dose adjustment mechanism for selecting the selected extended position from at least a high dose extended position and a low dose extended position. An actuator of the fluid dispenser, when activated, effects movement of the movable pump member between the selected extended position and the retracted position to dispense the dose of fluid. A volume of the dose of fluid that is dispensed upon activation of the actuator is higher when the high dose extended position is the selected extended position than when the low dose extended position is the selected extended position.
