  • Publication number: 20220051436
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for learning template representation libraries. In one aspect, a method includes obtaining an image depicting a physical environment, where the environment includes a given physical object. When possible, a position of the given object in the environment is inferred based on a template representation library using template matching techniques. In response to determining that the position of the given object in the environment cannot be inferred based on the template representation library using template matching techniques, the template representation library is automatically augmented with new template representations.

  • Patent number: 10589370
Abstract: A method for hole formation using an electrical discharge machining tool configured to penetrate metal. The method includes the steps of: penetrating the metal using an electrode to form a hole by moving the electrode away from a starting point; verifying that the hole is complete using the electrical discharge machine; and wherein the verifying step includes the step of probing the hole with the electrode.

  • Publication number: 20200000673
Abstract: A support frame (10) having an outer frame (12) and an inner frame (20) which are connected on both a first side (FS) and a second side (SS) by flexible fixed length tension members (61, 62,63,64,65,66), as well as an adjustable length tension member (50). The support frame has both a deployed and collapsible state, wherein the flexible fixed length tension members are under tension when deployed, and are slack when collapsed. This is achieved by reducing or increasing the length of the adjustable length tension member (50). The outer frame and inner frame rotate relative to one another around an axis of rotation xi formed by a first hinge member (30) and a second hinge member (40).

  • Patent number: 10452469
Abstract: Business transactions and the nodes processing the transactions may be monitored. Actions may be applied to one or more nodes when a performance issue is detected. A performance issue may relate to a metric associated with a transaction or node that processes the transaction. If a performance metric does not satisfy a health rule, the policy determines which action should be performed to correct the performance of the node. The corrective action may be applied to a node other than the node at which the performance metric is associated with. For example, if a performance metric for a first node does not satisfy a threshold, the corrective action may be applied to a second node. When a solution applied to a second node is found to correct the problem in first node, the solution may be applied to the other nodes experiencing the same problem.

  • Patent number: 10158541
Abstract: Business transactions and the nodes processing the transactions are monitored and actions are applied to one or more nodes when a performance issue is detected. A performance issue may relate to a metric associated with a transaction or node that processes the transaction. If a performance metric determined from data captured by monitoring does not satisfy a health rule, the policy determines which action should be performed to correct the performance of the node. When a problem is detected for multiple nodes, the present technology may address a subset of the multiple nodes rather than apply an action to each node experiencing the problem. When a solution is found to correct the problem with the subset of nodes, the solution may be applied to the other nodes experiencing the same problem.

  • Patent number: 10135179
Abstract: A system for providing power to a cordless appliance is provided. The system includes a coupler, and a complementary coupler on the appliance is also present. The coupler has symmetrically configured concentric power terminals, which are connected to a main power source in use, and a magnetic coupling region disposed concentrically around an outer periphery of the power terminals. The complementary coupler has complementary power terminals configured to engage with the symmetrically configured concentric power terminals of the coupler, and an engaging region disposed concentrically around an outer periphery of the complementary terminals. A magnetic force provides a mutual attraction between the magnetic coupling region and the engaging region, thereby engaging the power terminals and complementary power terminals and establishing an electrical connection between the coupler and the appliance.
