  • Publication number: 20240163622
Abstract: A system and method are presented for treating tinnitus which include identifying separate treatment signal settings for a patient having a heard tinnitus noise in a left ear and a right ear by separately selecting each ear in turn. Treatment signal settings for a selected ear are identified by presenting audible signal to the selected ear at a variety of frequencies, amplitudes, phases and shapes in order to provides an audible signal that is near to that of a perceived tinnitus sound. Storing the frequency, amplitude, phase and wave shape as the separate treatment signal settings for the selected ear. Using the treatment signal settings for the left ear to generate a left ear treatment signal that is presented to the left ear, and using the treatment signal settings for the right ear to generate a right ear treatment signal that is presented to the right ear.

  • Publication number: 20240163632
Abstract: An audio method, system, and computer readable medium is provided that estimates an acoustic transfer function in an environment between a transducer and a microphone. An audio test signal is generated, wherein an amplitude or energy of the audio test signal is selected, across a plurality of frequency bins, at least in part, to be at least partially masked by acoustic energy in the environment. The audio test signal is provided to a transducer to be transduced into an acoustic signal in the environment. The microphone receives the acoustic signal and provides a microphone signal. The microphone signal is processed through a summing method over a predetermined time duration of three (3) seconds or longer, and the acoustic transfer function is estimated based upon the summing method.

  • Publication number: 20240163590
Abstract: Implementations described and claimed herein provide systems and methods for a configurable optical peering fabric to dynamically create a connection between participant sites without any physical site limitations or necessity of specialized client and network provider equipment being located within such a facility. Client sites to a network may connect to a configurable switching element to be interconnected to other client sites in response to a request to connect the first client site with a second site, also connected to network, via the switching element. A request may trigger verification of the requested and, upon validation, transmission of an instruction to the switching element to enable the cross connect within the switching element. The first site and the second site may thus be interconnected via the switching element in response to the request, without the need to co-locate equipment or to manually install a jumper between client equipment.

  • Publication number: 20240155972
Abstract: A pneumatic lawn level may leverage a gas strut which may apply down force to the base of the level to inhibit free motion backward toward the user. This may prevent soil and debris from becoming projectiles as the user moves the level base back and forth in front of them. In addition, the pneumatic lawn level may use the gas strut to provide an auto-retracting feature for storage. Further, addition of the gas strut may provide a joint that may give greater stability to the overall structure of the pneumatic lawn level. Moreover, the pneumatic lawn level may reduce the amount of force and effort needed to level the ground properly due to the gas strut's application of pressure on the level base.
