  • Publication number: 20240190941
Abstract: Multimers are provided in which a Major Histocompatibility Complex (MHC) class I or class II molecule, optionally complexed with an MHC-binding peptide, is attached to a multimerization moiety from immunoglobulin M or A (IgM or IgA) to thereby create a multivalent peptide-MHC-Ig multimer composition. The multimers can be used, for example, to determine the binding specificity of T cell receptors, such as for particular MHC-peptide complexes. The multimers can also be used, for example, to modulate an immune response in a subject by administering the multimer to the subject. • Publication number: 20240191943
Abstract: The present invention includes a spray drying disposable device for use in a spray drying system. The disposable has a spray drying head and a plasma drying chamber. The head has a spray dry nozzle assembly in fluid communication with the plasma source and the pressurized aerosol gas source. The pressurized gas flows in a vortex pattern that atomizes plasma droplets in the chamber. The head also includes a plenum has uniform air pressure of the drying gas. A baffle plate forms the floor of the plenum having drying gas jets that supply drying gas to the chamber. The atomized plasma droplets evaporate in the presence of the drying gas emitted from the jets to obtain dried plasma particles and humid air. A capture filter captures the dried plasma particles and allows the humid air to pass. The humid air passes through the gas outlet and the exhaust port.

  • Publication number: 20240191893
Abstract: A flexible or rigid fluid-carrying conduit system has an inner conduit, an outer member, and a space between the inner conduit and outer member, the space including an insulator. Each of the outer surface of the inner conduit and the inner surface of the outer member is electrically conductive. These electrically conductive surfaces are used for detection of moisture in the fluid-carrying conduit by providing either an electrical circuit or a capacitance measuring device. Completion of the electrical circuit provides an indication that moisture has entered the space between the inner conduit and outer member so that remedial action can be taken. Measuring the capacitance between the inner conduit and the outer member also allows for monitoring moisture in this space. The capacitance measuring function can also be used to monitor changes in thermal resistance of the conduit. The fluid-carrying conduit have a liner, bulk insulation, and a vapor barrier.

  • Publication number: 20240190496
Abstract: A child stroller apparatus includes a rear and a front leg frame respectively having a first and a second side segment, a handle frame having a grip portion and a third side segment respectively connected fixedly with a first and a second joining part that are pivotally connected with each other, a latching mechanism for locking the rear and front leg frames and the handle frame in an unfolded state, and a latch carried with the third side segment. The latch can engage and disengage the first joining part to lock and unlock the grip portion relative to the third side segment. Moreover, a linking part couples the latch to the rear leg frame or the front leg frame so that a folding rotation of the handle frame relative to the rear leg frame causes the latch to disengage from the first joining part.
