The method may further include receiving a request from the user for access to the community-based dating feature, and providing, in response to receiving the request, the user with access to the community-based dating feature by (1) identifying at least one additional member of the interest-based community who is an additional participant in the dating service, and (2) presenting dating information associated with the additional member of the interest-based community within a dating interface of the social networking system.
