  • Publication number: 20160325856
Abstract: A telecommunications satellite stabilized on three axes includes a set of dissipative equipment constituting a payload of the satellite. The satellite includes support data transmission antennas and is substantially parallelepipedal in shape with the panels forming two opposite faces, east and west faces. The panels form two additional opposite faces, north and south faces, and include radiator surfaces on their external faces. The radiator surfaces are configured to cool the electronic equipment of the satellite. The equipment installed on the north and south panels dissipate thermal power corresponding to less than 25% of the total dissipated power.

  • Publication number: 20160327364
Abstract: A kit for fitting a handwheel to a focussing control of a rifle scope is used to enlarge a focussing ring of the control, without having to remove the focussing ring from the control. The handwheel is secured by a headed bolt to a projecting stub shaft. The handwheel has a side plate supporting an outer rim that has a plurality of peripheral indentations to assist turning of the handwheel. The side plate has a central hole and a hub that projects axially from the side plate and defines a bore for receiving the stub shaft. The outer diameter of the hub is received within an outer end portion of the focussing ring. The hub has at least one abutment that co-operates with the stub shaft to inhibit relative rotational movement. A cap bolt extends through the hole to engage the stub shaft and secure the handwheel to the control.

  • Patent number: 9439029
Abstract: Systems and methods for continuous measurement of an analyte in a host are provided. The system generally includes a continuous analyte sensor configured to continuously measure a concentration of analyte in a host and a sensor electronics module physically connected to the continuous analyte sensor during sensor use, wherein the sensor electronics module is further configured to directly wirelessly communicate sensor information to one or more display devices. Establishment of communication between devices can involve using a unique identifier associated with the sensor electronics module to authenticate communication. Times tracked at the sensor electronics module and the display module can be at different resolutions, and the different resolutions can be translated to facilitate communication. In addition, the frequency of establishing communication channels between the sensor electronics module and the display devices can vary depending upon whether reference calibration information is being updated.

  • Patent number: 9246089
Abstract: A memory cell according to the present invention comprises a bottom conductor, a doped semiconductor pillar, and a top conductor. The memory cell does not include a dielectric rupture antifuse separating the doped semiconductor pillar from either conductor, or within the semiconductor pillar. The memory cell is formed in a high-impedance state, in which little or no current flows between the conductors on application of a read voltage. Application of a programming voltage programs the cell, converting the memory cell from its initial high-impedance state to a low-impedance state. A monolithic three dimensional memory array of such cells can be formed, comprising multiple memory levels, the levels monolithically formed above one another.

  • Publication number: 20160012223
Abstract: This disclosure describes a system, method, and apparatus for determining the likelihood of whether a digital document contains potentially malicious content by a scoring module configured to provide a page score for the digital document representing the likelihood that the document contains potentially malicious content, the scoring module using at least one of a Word Expression. The Word Expression is an equation having at least one variable representing a number of occurrences of potentially malicious content in the digital document. The scoring module is capable of providing both a real-time and a post-production evaluation of the digital document, and contributes an output value representing the calculated likelihood of potentially malicious content being present in the digital document. The scoring module is also configured to utilize inheritance, such that the digital document score is based on formulas within its own report and also one or more of one or more parent reports.
