  • Patent number: 11365591
Abstract: A boom system for utility service lines (such as cables, wires, hoses, pipes, etc.) for a drilling rig. The mobile boom system includes a skid with posts and one or more booms pivotally attached to each post. One or more articulating booms attached to a first post can support and carry the service lines connected to the sources and one or more articulating booms attached to the second post can support and carry the service lines connected to a drilling rig, or to a boom extending from a drilling rig. The mobile articulating boom system can include means for moving and selectively positioning the mobile articulating boom system at a drilling site. The mobile boom system can be adapted so that it has first, second, and third booms which can be placed in a closed position and fit within a perimeter defined by the skid for easier transportation to and from a drilling site.

  • Publication number: 20220099853
Abstract: A subsurface representation that includes geometry and material properties of subsurface geological formations may be generated. To compute the initial (pre-production) state of stress, gravitational forces and tectonic forces may be applied to the subsurface representation. These loads may result in stress and displacement fields within the subsurface representation. The stress field may be calibrated against available measurements. At this point, the subsurface representation may be reinitialized by resetting the displacements within the subsurface representation while maintaining the stress field.

  • Patent number: 11241586
Abstract: Devices, systems, and methods for a treating dementia or Alzheimer's disease in a subject in need thereof. In one example, combined auditory and visual stimuli having a frequency of about 20 Hz to about 60 Hz, and more specifically about 40 Hz, are non-invasively delivered to the subject to induce synchronized gamma oscillations in at least one brain region of the subject. In particular, pursuant to various treatment and exposure protocols, combined auditory and visual stimulation (as opposed to auditory or visual stimulation alone) promotes a microglia response in the medial prefrontal cortex (mPFC). More generally, combined auditory and visual stimulation induces an extended microglia clustering response in the auditory cortex, the visual cortex, and the mPFC.
