  • Patent number: 11074508
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products for constraint tracking and inference generation are provided herein. A computer-implemented method includes parsing descriptions of one or more user-provided constraints pertaining to data within a target system, parsing truth value assignments to the user-provided constraints, and deriving a truth value for at least one of the user-provided constraints that does not correspond to a known truth value, wherein said deriving comprises performing a logical inference utilizing known truth values of one or more of the user-provided constraints. The computer-implemented method also includes storing, in a database, (i) the user-provided constraints, (ii) the known truth values, and (iii) the at least one derived truth value, and outputting the at least one derived truth value, one or more identified contradictions among the known truth values, and/or an indication that one or more unknown truth values corresponding to the user-provided constraints remain unknown.

  • Publication number: 20210167350
Abstract: The present invention offers some general specifications for the design, assembly, and adaptation of a rotating cylinder electrochemical cell into an autoclave, of a high temperature and pressure system for corrosion studies that simulate operating conditions in pipelines, as well as the operation and safety of an autoclave to evaluate the electrochemical process of metal surfaces exposed to aggressive aqueous solutions. The electrochemical cell consists of an array of three electrodes that include a rotating cylinder electrode designed to operate hermetically, a reference electrode and an auxiliary electrode. The rotating cylinder electrode is considered to be the working electrode, where the oxidation and electrochemical reduction processes are studied. However, the use of the method described in this work can be extended to other testing environments and materials by taking into account the physical and chemical properties of the fluids and materials to be used in order to avoid any risk for the operator.

  • Patent number: 10688068
Abstract: Our invention is a mixture of carboxylic acids: citric acid, succinic acid, fumaric acid and malic acid, and any possible combinations thereof. This product is used orally or also intravenously, in the treatment of patients with chronic renal failure, hyperammonemia or human conditions having negative nitrogen balance. This product is beneficial in decreasing the serum values of urea and serum ammonium, while promoting by transamination of the oxalacetate formed via succinate, fumarate and malate, the biosynthesis of non-essential amino acids; by transamination of the alpha ketoglutarate formed via citrate, it generates glutamic acid and related amino acids such as glutamine. This treatment prevents, preserves and even improves kidney function. In other patients it delays deterioration of renal function and the urgent need for renal replacement therapy. In others, it is used as a supplemental renal replacement treatment to improve the patient's quality of life and improve laboratory parameters.

  • Publication number: 20190190193
Abstract: In some embodiments, an apparatus includes a first connector that includes a housing that defines a receptacle between a top surface and the bottom surface. The receptacle has a first end open at the top surface and a closed second end opposite the first end, and a magnet is disposed within the receptacle. A circuit board is permanently coupled to the first connector such that a bottom surface of the circuit board contacts the top surface of the housing and the circuit board covers the first end of the receptacle preventing the magnet from being removed from the receptacle. The first connector can be removably coupled to a second connector such that a front surface of the housing of the first connector engages a front surface of a housing of the second connector and the magnet of the first connector magnetically couples to a magnet of the second connector.
