The driver monitoring module once activated, monitors the driver alertness during the autonomous drive mode. The system further includes an interactive module, which is connected to the monitoring module that gets activated in case alertness level of the driver falls below a first threshold value. The first threshold value may be determined based on multiple attributes. Further, the interactive training program is deactivated if the alertness of the driver is equal or greater than a second threshold value.
