  • Publication number: 20150101460
Abstract: A reversible monkey wrench is provided. An end of a head is formed with a fixed jaw, a sliding rail and a receiving slot. The movable jaw has a sliding rod slidably disposed in the sliding rail. The axial rod is disposed in the head and extended into the receiving slot. A worm gear has an engaging portion corresponding to the sliding rod and an axial bore for receiving the axial rod. The worm gear is slidably disposed in the receiving slot and an end thereof is formed with a first dragging portion. A dragging mechanism is disposed around the axial rod and circumferentially contacted with the first dragging portion, dragging portion and friction between the first dragging portion and the dragging mechanism can prevent simultaneous rotation of the worm gear.

  • Publication number: 20140110275
Abstract: A case for enclosing a personal electronic device is disclosed that has at least one button molded into the case, wherein the button is manufactured from rigid material that may or may not deform when depressed. The case, whether hard or soft, may incorporate the buttons manufactured from a hard material and afford the user the same tactile response as if the user were depressing the underlying buttons on the device. The case may be co-molded with two similar or dissimilar materials. One of the co-molded materials may provide a membrane that allows the button to flex and also secures the buttons to prevent them from being dislodged from or out of the case.

  • Patent number: 8701528
Abstract: A ratchet-action open-end wrench of the present invention has a simplified structure. Arc-shaped abutting surface and corresponding groove is dismissed from the present wrench. Thus, components of the wrench can be manufactured and fabricated easily, and specified producing process can be chosen for obtaining strengthened structure. In addition, cost of the wrench is abated, precision of the wrench is arisen, and lift-time of the wrench is prolonged.

  • Patent number: 8261640
Abstract: A reversible open end wrench includes a handle, a head and a retainer. The head includes a first jaw, a second jaw and an extension section. The jaws and the extension section define a driving area therebetween. The first jaw has a first engaging surface and a distal end. The second jaw has a second engaging surface. The horizontal distance between the two engaging surfaces is s. The retainer is disposed on the distal end and has a retaining end extending toward the driving area. The retaining end is movable between a first position and a second position. As the retaining end locates at the first position, the horizontal distance between the retaining end and the second engaging surface is smaller than s. As the retaining end locates at the second position, the horizontal distance between the retaining end and the second engaging surface is no smaller than s.

  • Publication number: 20120160720
Abstract: An exterior cover for attachment to the exterior surface of a hinged computing device's base may modify the size, position, and/or footprint of one or more extensions, or feet, projecting from the bottom of the base. The modification may serve to increase the stability of the hinged computing device when the hinged computing device is in an open position (i.e., when the display element is separated from the base).

  • Patent number: 8136429
Abstract: A reversible monkey wrench includes a handle, a head, a slidable jaw, an axial rod and a worm gear. The handle has a connecting end for the head to abut thereagainst. The head is formed with a fixed jaw, a sliding rail, a receiving slot and a connecting bore. The connecting bore communicates with the receiving slot. A movable pin and a spring are disposed between the connecting end and the head. A top of the movable pin selectively inserts through the connecting bore. The spring urges the movable pin so that the movable pin may abut against the connecting end. The worm gear is adapted to control the slidable jaw to move and is slidably disposed in the receiving slot with respect to the axial rod. The movable pin selectively abuts against the worm gear to prohibit the worm gear from sliding.

  • Publication number: 20110273773
Abstract: Screen protectors for electronic devices have been available for some time. Some small touch screen devices have dedicated soft keys on a certain portion of the screen. Soft keys are representations of physical buttons on the screen. Since the devices are generally very small, it is often difficult for the user to avoid accidently hitting one of these soft keys. One application of the invention shows a small ridge that protrudes vertically out of the screen protector, so that the user can feel that under his/her finger/touch, to locate the sections on the screen, e.g. the keyboards or menus and their components. Other variations and examples are also given here.

  • Patent number: 7878095
Abstract: A reciprocatable open end wrench comprises a swing member allowing to slide relative to a concave arcuate surface of a second jaw, the radius of a convex arcuate surface of the swing member is equal to that of a concave arcuate surface of the second jaw, and between the concave arcuate surface and the convex arcuate surface is provided with an engagement structure having a slot member and a peripheral protrusion so as to engage with each other. Besides, the reciprocatable open end wrench further includes a stop portion for resisting against the torque of the swing member, thereby enhancing the strength and preventing the related components to be damaged.

  • Patent number: 7748299
Abstract: A wrench includes a fixed jaw and a sliding jaw which has a cylindrical guide portion and two toothed surfaces are defined in axial direction of the portion. The two toothed surfaces are made by Metric and English systems respectively. Two pawls are engaged with a through hole in the head each include an engaging surface in a first end thereof and the engaging surface is composed of teeth which are removably engaged with on of the two toothed surfaces. The two respective engaging surfaces of the two pawls are made by Metric and English systems respectively. An operation unit controls the two pawls to be engaged with or disengaged from the two toothed surfaces of the sliding jaw.
