  • Patent number: 7228765
Abstract: An adjustable wrench comprises a handle, a head portion formed at one end of the handle, and an adjusting unit. The head portion further includes a fixed jaw and a movable jaw, which forms a clip surface for clipping a screwed part. The movable jaw is provided with a slide rod at a bottom side thereof that is retained along a slot extended transversely across the head portion. The adjusting unit controls the displacement of the movable jaw along the slot. The ratio of a maximal outer width to a maximal inner width is selected from three ranges so that the operation of the wrench within a limited space can be facilitated, attaining the goal of quickly loosening the screwed part.

  • Publication number: 20070101833
Abstract: A ratchet tool uses a braking piece disposed in a receptacle area in the box head of a wrench for locking the ratchet wheel. The braking piece has two opposite components respectively extended from the top ends thereon and is coupled to a pushing mechanism consisting of a first and a second resilient parts. The resilient parts are attached on two lateral sides of a connecting piece, whereby the braking piece urged by a multi-step repositioning spring force in a process of backward reposition will produce louder noises for a better recognition of a user. The receptacle areas can be easily sealed by a cover plate for a fast assembly.

  • Patent number: 7146886
Abstract: A wrench includes a handle and a set of driving members to be selected to be coupled to the handle. Each of the driving members has a connecting portion complementary to the connecting portion of the handle. A coupling device is disposed at the connecting portion of the handle to detachably coupling the connecting portion of the driving member and the connecting portion of the handle. The coupling device forms a rotation axis of the driving member, such that the driving member can rotate. As a result, the driving members can be replaced quickly to the handle to meet the specific work.

  • Publication number: 20060137494
Abstract: A wrench has a handle, a first jaw and a second jaw. The first jaw and the second jaw each has a holding face and two sidewalls respectively connected to the holding face at two sides. Each edge between the holding faces and the sidewalls of the first and the second jaws respectively has a guiding portion thereon. The guiding portions are chamfer or fillets. Whereby the distance between the interior sides of the guiding portions, which are connecting to said holding faces, of said first jaw and said second jaw is smaller than the distance between the exterior sides of said guiding portions, which are connecting to said sidewalls, of said first jaw and said second jaw. The guiding portions will enlarge the coupling range of the wrench.

  • Publication number: 20050091549
Abstract: A universal serial bus (USB) with a power-saving mode and an operating method thereof are provided. When the USB peripheral is coupled to the USB host, the USB host core logic of the USB host transmits an inquiry request via a USB transceiver to inquire whether or not the USB peripheral supports the power-saving mode. The core logic of the USB peripheral responds via the USB transceiver that the power-saving mode is supported. Then the USB peripheral is off-line and then is shifted to be on-line for operating the power-saving mode. The USB host is also switched to the power-saving mode. Under the power-saving mode, the data are respectively transceived by the serial transceivers. The clock frequency of the serial transceiver can be adjusted according to the request of data transmission.
