    Abstract: A computing system implementing a functional safety validation tool to simulate a circuit design having a digital portion and an analog portion, and inject a fault into the digital portion of a simulated circuit design, which propagates towards alarm logic configured to detect the injected fault. When the injected fault propagates to a boundary between the digital portion and the analog portion, the functional safety validation tool can perform a parallel simulation of the analog portion, which propagates the injected fault from the boundary through the analog portion to an output. The functional safety validation tool can determine whether the analog portion of the circuit design suppresses the injected fault based on a value at the output. The functional safety validation tool can generate a fault coverage presentation identifying a diagnostic coverage of the alarm logic based on whether the injected fault was suppressed.

    Abstract: Purification of a poly(phenylene ether) includes contacting a liquid feed solution with a hydrated acidic clay adsorbent under conditions effective to provide a liquid effluent solution. The liquid feed solution includes a poly(phenylene ether), an organic acid impurity, and an amine impurity. The weight average molecular weight of the poly(phenylene ether) of the liquid effluent solution is within 1 percent of the weight average molecular weight of the poly(phenylene ether) of the feed solution, and the concentration of the amine impurity and the organic acid impurity of the liquid effluent solution is reduced by at least 40 percent relative to the concentration of the each impurity in the feed solution. Compositions and articles comprising a purified poly(phenylene ether) are also described.

    Abstract: In the present invention, a method for searching multilingual keywords in mixlingual speech corpus is proposed. This method is capable of searching audio as well as text keywords. The capability of audio search enables it to search out-of-vocabulary (OOV) words. The capability of searching text keywords enables it to perform semantic search. An advanced application of searching keyword translations in mixlingual speech corpus is also possible within posteriorgram framework with this system. Also, a technique for combining information from text and audio keywords is given which further enhances the search performance. This system is based on multiple posteriorgrams based on articulatory classes trained with multiple languages.

The system adds the mutually insignificant partition element into the bucket; otherwise, the system closes the bucket and creates a new bucket to add the mutually significant partition element to the new bucket. After all the buckets have been created, the system groups buckets of continuous attributes in to a bucket group so that the buckets in a group are mutually insignificant. If bucket is mutually significant, the system creates a new bucket group and adds subsequent mutually significant bucket to said new bucket group.

It then checks for both reliability and refinability of the size 1 patterns. System grows the refinable patterns by increasing the attributes and its values in the pattern by one at a time to find a size 2 pattern. The system then uses the number of pattern occurrences of size 2 pattern as a basis to find the reliable patterns. System also checks for statistical significance over the size 1 patterns and once again for the refinability of the size 2 patterns. System checks for relevance of the size 1 patterns by obtaining the disjointed record complement set. Software system readjusts the pattern statistics of size 1 and removes the non-relevant super-patterns. This process is repeated from size 2 to N.
