  • Patent number: 11365503
Abstract: A laundry washing machine having an outer casing, a washing tub, a rotatable drum and at least one balancing ring rigidly secured to the rotatable drum. The at least one balancing ring includes a substantially toroidal, annular housing that is rigidly secured to the drum, and has a tubular structure so as to delimit a closed annular inner cavity. A number of balancing masses are accommodated in movable manner inside the annular inner cavity, preferably together with a damping liquid. The annular housing has a substantially frustoconical outer wall segment that is inclined by an angle (?) lower than 90° with respect to the midplane (P) of the annular housing, and a peripheral supporting structure that juts out outwardly from the substantially frustoconical outer wall segment to stably abut against the body of the drum.

  • Patent number: 11368095
Abstract: A continuous load high-power flyback converter includes a first transformer having a first primary winding, a first secondary winding, and a first auxiliary winding, and a second transformer having a second primary winding, a second secondary winding, and a second auxiliary winding. The first primary winding and the second primary winding are connected in parallel between a power source and a transistor. The first secondary winding and the second secondary winding are connected in series to a diode and form an output of the continuous load high-power flyback converter. A load is connected between the output and ground. The first auxiliary winding and the second auxiliary winding are connected in series, and used to generate a control signal for the transistor. Connecting the primary windings in parallel and the secondary windings in series reduces the reflected voltage on the transistor for a given output voltage.

  • Patent number: 11367452
Abstract: Techniques are provided for spatial audio streaming using adaptive bitrate encoding and decoding in bandwidth limited virtual reality applications. A methodology implementing the techniques according to an embodiment includes calculating weight factors for audio channels associated with each of a plurality of microphones. The weight factors are based on the position and head angle, relative to the microphones, of a user wearing a head mounted display (HMD). The method also includes encoding and decoding the audio channels, for transmission to the HMD, at a selected bitrate, the bitrate based on the weight factor for the audio channel. The method further includes applying an adaptive gain compensation to each of the received and decoded audio channels, the gain compensation also based on the weight factor. The method further includes mixing the resulting gain compensated channels to generate a stereo audio signal to be played through speakers of the HMD.

  • Patent number: 11365502
Abstract: A laundry washing machine having an outer casing, a washing tub, a rotatable drum and at least one balancing ring rigidly secured to the drum for reducing vibrations thereof. The balancing ring comprises an annular housing rigidly secured to the drum, an internal closed annular inner cavity, and balancing masses in free movable manner inside the annular inner cavity. The annular housing has first and second discrete and complementary annular hemishells that are joined to one another to form the annular inner cavity. The annular hemishells are substantially coplanar and concentric to one another, and have approximately C-shaped cross sections that are substantially complementary to one another. The hemishells are joined to one another along corresponding first and second mating annular rims, which are arranged on opposite sides of a given intermediate plane perpendicular to the central axis of the annular housing.

  • Publication number: 20220184095
Abstract: The solubility and bioavailability properties of meloxicam can be improved by preparing compositions of meloxicam co-crystals and reducing the particle size of (e.g., “nanosizing”) co-crystals. Such compositions with improved dissolution pharmacokinetic properties can be prepared by granulation and blending the co-crystals with extragranular excipients to provide oral solid dosage forms. As a result of the improved properties of the meloxicam oral dosage forms, the compositions may be useful for the treatment of pain, including acute pain.

  • Publication number: 20220189576
Abstract: The low end operating voltage of an integrated circuit is adjusted. Oscillations are counted at a ring oscillator on the integrated circuit over a designated period of clock cycles. Based on the number of oscillations, a prediction model associated with a first set of device degradation data and a second set of static random-access memory (SRAM) low end operating voltage data is used to select a low end operating voltage limit for a processor on the integrated circuit. The low end operating voltage of the processor is set based on the selected low end operating voltage limit. These steps are repeated multiple times during operation of the processor. A method of testing integrated circuits to provide the data employed to produce the prediction model is also provided.
