  • Publication number: 20200195043
Abstract: A high-frequency inverter architecture is provided that compensates for coupling variations in wireless power transfer (WPT) systems, while adapted to operate at a fixed frequency and maintaining high efficiency. This implementation, termed a variable compensation inverter (VCI), includes a plurality of high-frequency inverters feeding a lossless resonant network, with the inputs of the inverters fed by controllable voltages. By appropriately controlling the input voltages of the individual inverters and their relative phase-shift, the VCI can maintain near-resistive, and slightly but sufficiently inductive, loading of the inverters even as the reactance of the WPT coupler changes; hence, providing compensation while maintaining zero-voltage and near-zero-current switching. The VCI also ensures that the output power of the WPT system is maintained at a fixed level even during coupling variations.

  • Publication number: 20200193032
Abstract: Systems and methods for peer-to-peer secure document exchange are disclosed. The system may allow a document provider to securely transmit a certified document to a document verifier using decentralized storage. The verifier system may generate a session key pair and transmit the session public key to a trusted API provider. The trusted API provider may generate a session nonce. The verifier system may transmit the session nonce to the provider system. The provider system may use the session nonce to retrieve the session public key. The provider system may encrypt a certified document using the session public key and store the encrypted certified document in the decentralized storage. The verifier system may retrieve the encrypted certified document by polling the trusted API provider based on the session nonce. The verifier system may decrypt the encrypted certified document using the session private key.

  • Publication number: 20200193033
Abstract: Example methods and systems disclosed herein facilitate the introduction and use of client-specified object encryption within a computing environment using remote third-party storage systems, where data objects stored on the remote third-party storage systems were previously either stored in unencrypted form or encrypted with a single key tied to an account that owns the data. In some embodiments, the encryption is introduced into the system in gradual stages, so as to minimize or entirely eliminate data availability downtime. In some embodiments, the introduction of client-specified object encryption involves registration of a user function on the third-party storage system, where the user function handles object decryption in response to requests of content consumers for data objects stored by the third-party storage system.

  • Patent number: 10685383
Abstract: Methods select content to be delivered to a visitor to a real-world venue. One method identifies a visitor to a real-world venue based on tracked physical actions and a profile including previously collected visitor information associated with the venue. The method determines that members of a group are present at the venue with the visitor, where the determining is based at least in part on the previously collected visitor information. Based on determining that the visitor is at the venue with members of the group, content is selected for the visitor. Another method identifies a visitor to a venue as belonging to a group by identifying the visitor based on tracked physical actions and collected visitor information. The tracked actions and visitor information are used to determine whether the visitor is in the venue with members of the group. Tailored content is sent to the visitor based on the determination.

  • Patent number: 10685127
Abstract: Provided is a computer-implemented method for automatically preserving privacy in a user interface. The method includes detecting privacy objects that are being presented via a UI of a computing device to a first user. A security status of the UI is evaluated based at least in part on analyzing audio captured by an audio capture device of the computing device. A privacy mode of the UI that executes privacy actions that are associated with the detected privacy objects is activated based on determining that the security status is in an unsecure state. The privacy mode is deactivated based on determining that the security status has changed from the unsecure state to a secure state, in which determining that the security status has changed from unsecure to secure is based on analyzing the audio captured by the audio capture device of the computing device.

  • Patent number: 10685113
Abstract: In some implementations, a computing device can determine the similarity of binary executables. For example, the computing device can receive an application, including a binary executable. The computing device can generate function signatures for the functions called within the binary executable. The computing device can generate a locality sensitive hash value for the application based on the function signatures. The computing device can group applications based on the locality sensitive hash value generated for each application. The computing device can compare the function signatures of the binary executables of the applications within a group to determine the similarity of the applications. If two applications have binary executables that are over a threshold percentage of similarity, the two applications can be identified as clones of each other.
