  • Publication number: 20200183977
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed towards methods and systems for providing relevant video scenes in response to a video search query. The systems and methods identify a plurality of key frames of a media object and detect one or more content features represented in the plurality of key frames. Based on the one or more detect content features, the systems and methods associate tags indicating the detected content features with the plurality of key frames of the media object. The systems and methods, in response to receiving a search query including search terms, compare the search terms with the tags of the selected key frames, identify a selected key frame that depicts at least one content feature related to the search terms, and provide a preview image of the media item depicting the at least one content feature.

  • Publication number: 20200186445
Abstract: The current document is directed to an automated-application-installation subsystem that provisions, installs, and configures applications across cloud-computing providers, including applications that invoke functions provisioned and executed through a distributed-function-as-a-service feature of the automated-application-installation subsystem. The automated-application-installation subsystem employs application blueprints to identify components to provision. An application blueprint generally includes component specifications, constraints, and interdependencies. The automated-application-installation subsystem then determines a cost-effective provisioning of the identified components across available cloud-computing providers and installs the application according to the cost-effective provisioning.

Abstract: Hardware monitors which can be used by a formal verification tool to exhaustively verify a hardware design for a memory unit. The hardware monitors include detection logic to monitor one or more control signals and/or data signals of an instantiation of the memory unit to detect symbolic writes and symbolic reads. In some examples a symbolic write is a write of symbolic data to a symbolic address; and in other examples a symbolic write is a write of any data to a symbolic address. A symbolic read is a read of the symbolic address. The hardware monitors also include assertion verification logic that verifies an assertion that read data corresponding to a symbolic reads matches write data associated with one or more symbolic writes preceding the read.

  • Publication number: 20200185532
Abstract: A transistor structure includes a layer of active material on a base. The base can be insulator material in some cases. The layer has a channel region between a source region and a drain region. A gate structure is in contact with the channel region and includes a gate electrode and a gate dielectric, where the gate dielectric is between the gate electrode and the active material. An electrical contact is on one or both of the source region and the drain region. The electrical contact has a larger portion in contact with a top surface of the active material and a smaller portion extending through the layer of active material into the base.
