  • Publication number: 20020122086
Abstract: A paper feed operation is performed by a width less than one pixel (½) in addition to an integer multiple number of pixels (n/2) with respect to a basic number of pixels inherent to an ink jet recording apparatus having a multi nozzle head having n nozzles. When a plurality of tines of pixel recording operations are performed for a single pixel region, ink dots land at a distance less than one pixel (½) at the pixel density. Thus, a variation in ink surface density on a recording sheet in an overlapping print operation is reduced, thereby efficiently increasing the image density, and preventing blurring by promoting absorption and evaporation of an ink to and from a paper sheet.

  • Patent number: 6354880
Abstract: A CRT socket includes a focus side discharge electrode plate formed by a projection from a metallic plate. An elastic contact piece projects from a bottom edge of the metallic plate in a direction reverse to a projecting direction of an electrode portion. An attaching frame portion for nipping and fixing both sides of the focus side discharge electrode plate is formed in a side wall surrounding a discharge air gap chamber. When the focus side discharge electrode plate is attached to the attaching frame portion, the elastic contact piece makes elastic contact with an inside lead portion of the resistance element. • Patent number: 6331898
Abstract: A code printing method and apparatus which prints an image and a code on the same recording medium. The apparatus stores a plurality of density patterns corresponding to each density, and codes corresponding to the density patterns. When code data is inputted and printing of the code is instructed, the apparatus determines the density of each pixel of image data, selects the density pattern representing the code data among the density patterns corresponding to the pixel density, and prints the density pattern instead of the image pixel. Thus, the image and code are printed without deterioration of image quality.

  • Patent number: 6312102
Abstract: Whether or not a color image is present adjacent to a black image is discriminated. Whether the black image is formed using a black ink or a plurality of color inks C, M, and Y is determined in accordance with the discrimination result. When the black image is formed using the plurality of color inks, it is recorded using a repetitive pattern of two of C, M, and Y so as to prevent blurring with the color image, and to improve fixing characteristics by decreasing the total ejection amount.

  • Publication number: 20010015606
Abstract: A CRT socket has a partition wall for partitioning a focus contact storing chamber and a base insertion hole which has sufficient strength, while maintaining a creepage distance between a focus contact and a signal contact sufficient to avoid arcing. The focus contact is formed in a leaf shape. A partition wall on a side of the base portion is interposed utilizing a gap in which a pin-type focus contact is interposed between a base and a focus pin in a cathode ray tube. The outside face of a projecting portion is covered with the partition wall. Increased strength is obtained in the partition wall for partitioning the focus contact storing chamber and the base insertion hole. The creepage distance between the focus contact and the signal contact is lengthened by forcing charges to travel, not only over the surfaces, but also along overlapping surfaces.
