  • Publication number: 20180373011
Abstract: An image acquisition method in which a pulsed illumination beam emitted from a light source is scanned while being focused at a sample, signal light generated as a result of a non-linear optical process at each scanning position is detected, and an image of the sample is generated on a basis of the detected signal light, the image acquisition method including: acquiring a mixed image, which includes in-focus signal light generated at a focal position of the illumination beam in the sample and which also includes out-of-focus signal light; acquiring an image of the out-of-focus signal light on a basis of a plurality of mixed images having mutually different intensities of the out-of-focus signal light; and acquiring an image of the in-focus signal light by subtracting the image of the out-of-focus signal light acquired, from the mixed image acquired.

  • Patent number: 9975462
Abstract: A cup holder is provided, in which a control portion calculates a container-housing-portion temperature gradient ?T based on a temperature T detected by a thermistor disposed inside a convex portion located on a bottom portion of a container housing portion. The control portion automatically carries out heating or cooling relative to the container housing portion based on that the container-housing-portion temperature gradient ?T is a heating reference temperature gradient ? or above, or is a cooling reference temperature gradient ? or below. Thus, determinations of the heating or cooling is carried out based on only the container-housing-portion temperature gradient ?T, so that heating or cooling control can be accurately carried out only by one temperature sensor.

  • Publication number: 20170010453
Abstract: Provided is a microscope provided with: a scanner that scans an excitation beam coming from a light source; an objective optical system that focuses the scanned excitation beam onto a sample and that collects fluorescence generated at individual scanning positions in the sample; a detector that detects the collected fluorescence; a light blocking member that is disposed between the detector and the system and that partially blocks the collected fluorescence; a switching portion that switches the positional relationship between the member and a light-focusing point of the excitation beam in the sample between an optically conjugate positional relationship, in which an in-focus fluorescence generated at the light-focusing point passes through the member, and a non-conjugate positional relationship, in which the in-focus fluorescence is blocked by the member; and a computing portion that computes a difference between fluorescence signals acquired by the detector in the two positional relationships.

  • Patent number: 8456024
Abstract: Input/output cells are formed so as to be peripherally arranged adjacent to a corner cell on a surface of a semiconductor chip, and electrode pads are formed on the respective input/output cells. The electrode pads are configured in a zigzag pad arrangement so as to form inner and outer pad arrays. However, of the electrode pads forming the inner pad array, those electrode pads in predetermined areas adjacent to the two sides of the corner cell are not disposed, such that an interconnect pattern of a carrier which is bump-bonded to the semiconductor chip and vias are prevented from becoming complex.

  • Publication number: 20130075629
Abstract: A terahertz wave generator includes a femtosecond pulse light source 1 that outputs a near-infrared light L1, which is a pulse light, a diffraction grating 2 that diffracts the outputted near-infrared light L1, an optical system including a lens 3 and a lens 5, and a LiNbO3 crystal 6 for generating terahertz waves L2 with irradiation of the near-infrared light L1. The optical system including the lens 3 and the lens 5 is arranged such that at least a pan of a plane S0? optically conjugated to a diffractive plane S0 of the diffraction grating 2 is formed within the LiNbO3 crystal 6, and a direction normal to the conjugated plane and a direction normal to a plane formed by the pulse front of the non-linear L1 are matched with each other within the LiNbO3 crystal 6. This makes it possible for the near-infrared light L1 to cause the nonlinear optical effect to efficiently occur in the wide range, whereby high-efficient and high-power terahertz waves can be obtained.

Abstract: A rotating mechanism includes a biasing device (4) and a damper device. When a movable body (2) is changed over from a first position to a second position and from the second position to the first position of a main body (1), the rotating mechanism operates to rotate the movable body (2) against a biasing force of the biasing device (4) up to midway of a changeover operation thereof, rotates the movable body (2) by the biasing force of the biasing device (4) after the midway, and brakes the movable body (2) by the damper device in a predetermined interval in which the movable body (2) is rotated by the biasing force. The movable body (2) includes an arm (21) integrally rotated. The damper device is a piston damper (3) which is rotatably and pivotally supported on the main body (1), connected directly or indirectly relative to the arm (21), and provided so that an extending/retracting direction thereof is changed over on the midway of the changeover operation of the movable body (2).
