  • Patent number: 7600313
Abstract: A part cartridge for a mounter device used in a mounting process for mounting electronic parts on a substrate by heating the substrate to a predetermined temperature after the electronic parts are mounted on the substrate put on a conveying carrier by the mounter device, comprising holding part holding the substrate in the state of being fitted to the conveying carrier, and a guide tape holding the holding part. The holding member is stored in the state of being wound together with the guide tape so that the holding part can be mounted on the conveying carrier by the mounter device. By this, a method of holding and carrying the substrate for mounting the holding part on the conveying carrier by using the mounter device can be adopted in the mounting process. The deflection of the substrate in reflow can be securely prevented while suppressing cost by effectively utilizing the existing mounting line and devices.

  • Patent number: 7557942
Abstract: Recipient information is allocated to a transmission box in the image processing apparatus based on the header information in the e-mail sent from the external terminal. Scanned image data is stored and linked to the same transmission box. Subsequently, based on the recipient information, the image data is sent to the recipient as an attachment to an e-mail addressed to the recipient. Because the recipient information and the image data are linked via the transmission box, it is not necessary to simultaneously designate the recipient and input the image data. Therefore, the operation panel of the image processing apparatus need not be occupied for a long period of time.

  • Patent number: 7489416
Abstract: An MFP can transmit image data read by a scanner by attaching it to E-mail. At the time of transmission, the image data input by the scanner and stored in a work memory is converted into mail data so as to be transmitted by E-mail, and the mail data is stored again into the work memory. The mail data is divided every predetermined reference data size into divided files which are sequentially transmitted as divided mails. When completion of transmission of divided mails corresponding to a unit image is confirmed, the image data and mail data of the unit image are eliminated from the work memory. By sequentially performing such a process, the memory use efficiency can be improved while holding image data of a unit image which has not been transmitted yet.

  • Patent number: 7405845
Abstract: Dot characteristic points are first extracted from M-level image data by the dot characteristic point extracting device. A dot area identifying device subsequently identifies a dot area based on the results of the extraction carried out by the dot characteristic point extracting device. When the image attribute determination is completed, a parameter setting unit sets N-level conversion parameters based on the results of the determination carried out by the dot area identifying device. Consequently, N-level conversion takes place using the N-level conversion parameters appropriate for a dot area. Therefore, N-level conversion in which the occurrence of moire is prevented may be carried out regarding dot areas.
