  • Patent number: 6049208
Abstract: A magnetic resonance imaging system includes a lower body which has a flat upper surface, and contains a first magnetic pole, an upper body which has a lower surface disposed in opposed relation to the upper surface of the lower body, and contains a second magnetic pole, a bed disposed adjacent to the lower body, and a pair of support posts which are provided respectively on right and left sides of the lower body, and interconnect the lower body and the upper body. A space, formed between the lower surface of the upper body and the upper surface of the lower body, is open at least toward the bed between the pair of right and left support posts.

  • Patent number: 6042786
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a small and compact analytical apparatus. An input/output device for directing the analytical apparatus and displaying analytical results and operation conditions is detachably provided on a body of the apparatus. Since the input/output device can be fixed to an upper position of the body, the apparatus saves space and can be placed on a desk. The analytical apparatus includes a sample disk and a reagent disk. The diameter of the reagent disk is greater than that of the sample disk, and both disks are arranged at the front of the apparatus so that the center of the sample disk is nearer the operator side than the center of the reagent disk. Therefore, the whole arrangement is compact, and the apparatus itself is compact.

  • Patent number: 5909473
Abstract: In a bit synchronizing circuit, the oscillating operation is prevented in the phase synchronizing stage such that even the reception data including a phase variation such as a jitter component can be appropriately reproduced. A phase comparator compares the phase of reception data with that of each of the n-phase clock signals to produce clock phase information. An averaging circuit obtains mean value data of the clock phase information. D-type flip flop circuits achieve sampling operations of the reception data and latch therein n sampling data items to be thereafter outputted. A data selector selects one of the n sampling data items according to the mean value data of clock phase information and delivers therefrom the selected item as selection data. A clock selector selects one of the n-phase clock signals in association with the average data of clock phase information and then outputs the selected item as an extraction clock signal.

  • Patent number: 5864138
Abstract: The electron microscope provides sufficient leg space for an observer sitting in a chair in a working posture and allows concentrated observation and swift operation of the electron microscope without burdening the observer. An electron gun column is supported on a support structure formed in a rectangular parallelepiped. The electron gun column, a column evacuation device and a viewing chamber are mounted on the dampers on the support structure through a vibration plate. The table is mounted on the support structure through table supports provided on the top surface of the support structure. Further, the table has an opening at a location corresponding to the viewing chamber so that the table and the viewing chamber, both mounted on the support structure, are not in contact with each other.

  • Patent number: 5661415
Abstract: The present invention has the object of improving operation speed and operation margin for a GTL driver. An output buffer circuit is of push-pull construction using N-channel MOS transistors MN11 and MN12. An output signal is fed back to pull-up transistor MN11 by way of NOR circuit NOR1, and a low-amplitude, high-speed signal waveform is outputted. The output of this output buffer circuit is inputted to a differential input circuit of another semiconductor integrated circuit. The reference input of the differential input circuit is connected to a reference voltage supply, and the input of the differential input circuit is terminated to the reference voltage supply by terminating resistance.
