  • Patent number: 12261816
Abstract: Address resolution information acquisition (ARIA) for a computing device is described. In some examples, ARIA includes a computing device (e.g., an Internet of things (IoT) node, a gateway, a server) determining, without use of an address resolution protocol (ARP), address resolution information of one or more other computing devices (e.g., a IoT node, a gateway, a server). In one example, the computing device uses data flowing to or from its application layer, transport layer, or network layer to determine address resolution information of another computing device. The address resolution information can comprise one or more of a link layer address (e.g., a media access control (MAC) address) and an Internet layer address (e.g., an Internet protocol (IP) address). Usage of a cache for storing or deleting address resolution information can also be part of ARIA.

  • Patent number: 12257861
Abstract: Machines that plant crop seed generally compact the seed rows with their tires. The solution to this problem is to cut or mold notches into the tire lugs in the area that would pass directly above the planted seeds and adjacent to the planted seeds. Tires could also be molded with the notches in place during the tire manufacturing process. If lateral beaming strength is needed in the tire, ribs can be formed on the inside of the tire either intermittent or continuous across the width of the tire. Notching also could be done selectively on tires after molding.

  • Patent number: 12259958
Abstract: Connected computing enables the use of highly diverse environments that support operating frameworks for contemporary civilization. But computing productivity and trustworthiness are undermined by such environments' largely inchoate organization. These environments and their identity infrastructures are fragmented, and unnecessarily unreliable, insecure, and insufficiently informative due to current computing entity (e.g., resource) identification infrastructure design, which lacks root identification reliability. Such reliability is enabled herein by a fundamentally accurate and authenticity ensuring, near-existential or existential quality, biometrically and liveness based, portable identification and provenance infrastructure. Such an infrastructure provides ubiquitously available identification information that can be used universally for identification processes.

  • Patent number: 12259290
Abstract: A pressure sensor includes a header with a cavity, a pressure sensing element, an isolator, an isolator support, a damping gap, and oil. The pressure sensing element is in the cavity. The isolator has corrugations and is mounted to a top of the header. The isolator covers the cavity. The isolator support is in the cavity of the header above the pressure sensing element. The isolator support is corrugated. The corrugations of the isolator support align with the corrugations on the isolator. The damping gap is between the isolator support and the isolator. The damping gap has a constant width between the isolator support and the isolator. Oil fills the damping gap and the cavity in the header. The oil moves between the damping gap and the header cavity in response to external pressure changes moving the isolator.

  • Patent number: 12259486
Abstract: A method for location determination in a wireless communications system solves a minimization problem using estimated time-of-arrivals (TOAs) of reference signals [108, 110, 112] received by a receiving node [100] from transmitting nodes [102, 104, 106] and predetermined locations of the transmitting nodes, to produce an estimate of unknown receiving node location and/or an estimate of an unknown time of transmission (t) of the reference signals. The minimization problem is defined in terms of a theoretical system model of time-of-arrivals (TOAs), linearized globally as a function of the unknown receiving node location, the unknown time of transmission (t) of the reference signals, and an additional intermediate variable (u) that defines a non-linear quadratic constraint over position coordinates of the unknown receiving node location and the time of transmission (t) of the reference signals, wherein the minimization problem optimizes the additional intermediate variable (u).
