  • Patent number: 12260228
Abstract: Optimizing configuration rules in a computerized system comprises accessing a set of configuration rules associated with one or more management domains, computing standardized configuration rules, and iteratively optimizing these rules. The optimization process involves computing a candidate set of optimized rules, comparing the candidate set of optimized rules to the original set using a distance metric, and accepting the optimized set if it meets a proximity threshold. System configuration values are then modified based on the optimized rules. The method enhances efficiency and security in identity management systems by reducing redundancies, updating outdated rules, and simplifying rule expressions.

  • Patent number: 12258227
Abstract: A robotic system is disclosed. The system includes a memory that stores for each of a plurality of items a set of attribute values. The system includes a processor(s) that uses the attribute values to simulate the placement of items, including by determining, iteratively, for each next item a placement location at which to place the item on a simulated stack of items on the pallet, using the attribute values and a geometric model of where items have been simulated to have been placed to estimate a state of the stack after each of a subset of simulated placements, and using the estimated state to inform a next placement decision. The steps of determining for each next item a placement location and estimating the state of the stack until all of at least a subset of the plurality of items have been simulated as having been placed on the stack.

  • Patent number: 12261762
Abstract: Collect a full band capture spectral reading from a plurality of cable/fiber broadband network customer units (e.g., cable modems or equivalent optical units); for each of the cable/fiber broadband network customer units, construct an ideal spectral reading. For each of the cable/fiber broadband network customer units, subtract the ideal spectral reading from the full band capture spectral reading to obtain a resultant spectrum. For at least one of the cable/fiber broadband network customer units, identify a persistent deviation from zero in the resultant spectrum that does not match a known impairment type. Identify at least one new impairment type corresponding to the persistent deviation from zero. Remediation of the new impairment type can be carried out as appropriate, and/or a detection pattern can be deployed to identify future occurrences of the new impairment type.
