  • Publication number: 20250067880
Abstract: A system determines an accuracy of a set containing a plurality of sensor location measurements of a client device and generating a set of sensor location measurements labeled with an associated accuracy estimate, is presented. The system receives a plurality of sensor location measurements of the client device generated by a location sensor. The system may determine the accuracy of a sensor location measurement by comparing the sensor location measurement to a reference location measurement, such as VIO location measurements computed using VIO data. The system computes a first set of location translations for the set of sensor location measurements and a second set of location translations for the set of VIO location measurements. The system may calculate a measurement difference between each corresponding pair of location translations from the first and second set, identify measurement differences that exceed a threshold, and label the corresponding sensor location measurement as inaccurate.

  • Publication number: 20250067660
Abstract: This invention provides a system and method inspecting transparent or translucent features on a substrate of an object. A vision system camera, having an image sensor that provides image data to a vision system processor, receives light from a field of view that includes the object through a light-polarizing filter assembly. An illumination source projects polarized light onto the substrate within the field of view. A vision system process locates and registers the substrate, and locates thereon, based upon registration, the transparent or translucent features. A vision system process then performs inspection on the features using predetermined thresholds. The substrate can be a shipping box on a conveyor, having flaps sealed at a seam by transparent tape. Alternatively, a plurality of illuminators or cameras can project and receive polarized light oriented in a plurality of polarization angles, which generates a plurality of images that are combined into a result image.

  • Publication number: 20250070556
Abstract: Methods, apparatus and systems for providing secondary frequency regulation support to a power transmission system. In some embodiments, a real-time central controller requests current status data from a power distribution network which includes a plurality of distributed energy resources (DERs) and at least one substation battery energy storage system (BESS). The real-time central controller also receives an Automatic Generation Control (AGC) signal from a system operator, calculates a mismatch value, determines that the absolute value of the mismatch value is greater than a predetermined tolerance, and sets an optimal setpoint value for each of the plurality of DERs and an optimal setpoint value for the BESS. In some implementations, the real-time central controller next transmits a secondary frequency response that includes the optimal setpoint values to each of the plurality of DERs and the optimal setpoint value to the at least one BESS, thus providing secondary frequency regulation support.
