  • Patent number: 10254535
Abstract: An illumination system is provided that includes a spatial fiber arrangement with an optical element at the distal end of the fiber arrangement. The fiber arrangement has a first region including individual fibers with a significantly smaller active diameter in comparison with the individual fibers of a remaining region. The optical element at the distal end is assigned the remaining region. The fiber arrangement can be a rigid fiber rod that includes an intermediate region provided between the first region and the remaining region. The intermediate region suppresses stray light transfers between the first and remaining regions. The fiber arrangement can include an optical coupling element at a proximal end of the fiber rod.

  • Patent number: 7522868
Abstract: A developer unit having a toner reservoir and a toner application device. The toner application device applies toner to a developer and the developer can be brought into a planar contact with an OPC (photo conductor drum). • Patent number: 7326443
Abstract: A method for heating and fixing an inking, particularly a toner powder on a plate-shaped support. Heat is applied and fixes the inking to a coated upper side of the support. The method of this invention can be used to fix and adhere toner inkings on thick-walled supports. In one method step of this invention, the coated upper side and/or an uncoated underside of the plate-shaped support each is subjected to infrared radiation and/or a hot air stream and/or a microwave radiation. At least a portion of the infrared radiation and/or the hot air stream and/or the microwave radiation directed onto the uncoated underside of the support passes through while another portion is absorbed, such as if the support has a high weight per unit area of the support. A ceramic or thermosetting toner forms the applied ink.

  • Publication number: 20070172268
Abstract: A printing device having an electrophotographic printing group, to which a transfer medium for transferring a toner powder onto a substrate in a transfer zone is allocated. The substrate can be conducted through the transfer zone by a transport system and thermal energy can be introduced into the substrate by one or more heating elements. To improve the quality of the printed image, a cooling device is allocated to the transfer medium, and the device withdraws thermal energy from the transfer medium.

  • Publication number: 20070065680
Abstract: The invention relates to objects, especially glass objects or glass ceramic objects, which are provided with a double coating to facilitate cleaning thereof. In order to ensure a coating that meets very strict test conditions developed for interior panes of baking ovens, said object comprises a double coating encompassing a hydrophobic outer layer that is provided with a component which reacts with a free OH group, and an inner inorganic sol-gel layer. The outer hydrophobic layer is applied to a highly reactive inner sol-gel layer that only begins to dry at moderate temperatures of up to a maximum of 100° C. and is firmly anchored thereto in a chemical manner by means of condensation reactions, whereupon the double-layer system is burned into the surface of the object at temperatures exceeding 50° C.
