  • Patent number: 10785201
Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for synchronizing authentication sessions between applications. A token exchange service receives a first authentication token from a client computing device. The first authentication token corresponds to a registration of an application of the client computing device for a user account. The first authentication token is validated. A second authentication token is generated, corresponding to a browser-based session for the user account. The second authentication token is sent to the client computing device.

  • Patent number: 10713679
Abstract: This disclosure is directed to techniques and systems to enable customers to make secure electronic payments to entities (e.g., merchants, vending machines, etc.). The entities may be at brick-and-mortar locations or other locations where the entities are “offline” and may not readily receive payments from customers that have payment accounts stored and managed by a host. In various embodiments, a customer may direct the host to transfer a payment to a merchant after the customer and merchant exchange a code that includes a payment instruction. The code may be used in place of usernames, passwords, or other personal information and may be difficult for others (e.g., bystanders, etc.) to intercept. After the exchange of the code, the customer may authorize the host to a transfer payment to the merchant based on the payment instruction.

  • Publication number: 20200169552
Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for using an audio interface device to facilitate authentication for other devices. A client device presents an authentication code via an output device of the client device. The authentication code is received from a voice interface device. The voice interface device is in an authenticated state for access to an account, and the voice interface device received the authentication code from speech captured by a microphone of the voice interface device following a spoken wake word. The client device is authenticated for access to the account in response to determining that the authentication code received from the voice interface device matches the authentication code presented by the client device.

  • Publication number: 20200098890
Abstract: A method includes forming a dummy gate over a substrate. A pair of gate spacers are formed on opposite sidewalls of the dummy gate. The dummy gate is removed to form a trench between the gate spacers. A first ion beam is directed to an upper portion of the trench, while leaving a lower portion of the trench substantially free from incidence of the first ion beam. The substrate is moved relative to the first ion beam during directing the first ion beam to the trench. A gate structure is formed in the trench.

  • Patent number: 10585641
Abstract: A method includes generating, at a processor, a first virtual scene that includes a virtual object. The method also includes generating a user option to insert a virtual microphone into the first virtual scene. The user option enables user selection of a location of the virtual microphone. The method further includes generating a second virtual scene. The method also includes outputting a tagged sound associated with the virtual object while a display device displays the first virtual scene. The method further includes outputting the tagged sound while the display device displays the second virtual scene in response to a determination that the virtual microphone is inserted into the first virtual scene. Properties of the tagged sound are based on the location of the virtual microphone while the display device displays the second virtual scene.

  • Patent number: 10560354
Abstract: End-to-end, in situ packet enrichment for network analytics includes receiving, at a network device is a part of an end-to-end path in a network, a template that specifies unique information elements to be added to a header of a packet traversing the network device when different combinations of network features are applied to the packet at the network device. When the network device applies one or more of the network features to the packet, the network device inserts one a particular information element of the unique information elements into the header of the packet based on the template and the one or more network features applied to the packet. The particular information element inserted into the header is resolvable to a list of the one or more network features applied to the packet at the network device.
