    Abstract: Embodiments of a system are described. In one embodiment, the system is a device for performing operations and supporting transactions. The device is configured to receive a transaction comprising a command and data. The device writes the data to a transaction manager on a persistent memory device. The transaction manager also maintains a status of the transaction and reference to entries within memory that are manipulated by the transaction. The device also creates an in-memory log of the transaction in a first hash directory. The device then commits a copy of the first hash directory to a second hash directory maintained on a persistent memory device.

Further, a weight is assigned to each of the one or more nodes. An ordered structure of one or more reusable nodes is generated by deleting one or more nodes in accordance with the assigned weights. The ordered structure of one or more reusable nodes is utilized to reduce the number of computations in the data storage process. The data storage process converts data from a first format into a second format, and stores the data in the second format on a computer readable medium for data analysis purposes.

The carbonaceous fibers may be fused at fiber-to-fiber contact points by a polymer. The process of making the conductive fibrous material comprises mixing a phenolic polymer with a second polymer to form a polymer solution, preparing phenolic fibers having nano- or micro-scale diameters by electrospinning the polymer solution, and subsequent carbonization of the obtained phenolic fibers, thereby generating carbonaceous fibers, wherein each carbonaceous fiber is fused to at least one other fiber. The conductive fibrous material may be useful in electrode materials for energy storage devices.

The versioning method enables processing undo and redo operations of the data loading between a later version and a previous version. Data load failure recovery is performed without starting a data load from the beginning but rather from a latest checkpoint for data loading at an information warehouse level using a checkpoint process characterized by a state transition diagram having a multiplicity of states; and tracking state transitions among the states using a system state table.

The technical terms are partitioned into equivalence classes. A table is generated that correlates technical terms across equivalence classes based on temporal co-occurrence of the technical terms across the equivalence classes. For a given technical term the table is accessed to determine a first set of technical terms that correlate to the given technical term. The table is accessed again to determine a second set of technical terms that correlate to the first set of technical terms. It is predicted that the second set of technical terms will correlate to the given technical term in the future.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and a positioning server in a radio access network for collecting radio fingerprint positioning data records from different nodes. The data records comprise geographical positions and radio network communication parameters and are stored and grouped in clusters in the positioning server. A geometrical shape representing a geographical area based on the network communication parameters in the collected positioning data records in the cluster is computed. When a notification about changed network configuration parameters for a radio cell is received, known positioning servers simply erase all positioning data records related to that radio cell. This results in the unavailability of still valid positioning data. The present invention overcomes this problem by selectively erase positioning data records in the positioning server only when the configuration parameters have changed beyond a predefined value range.

    Abstract: A method for implementing multicast data exchange over a partitioned network having an encrypted domain with HAIPE devices at the edges consists of proxies running at an ingress edge and at egress edges of the encrypted domain. The proxies at the ingress edge device modify the multicast data packet to replace the destination address with the address of a proxy running on an egress edge device, such that the encrypted domain routes the packet directly to the proxy at the egress edge device without processing it as a multicast data packet. At the egress edge devices, the proxies restore the original address and send the multicast packets to the appropriate destinations.

    Abstract: In embodiments of the present invention, a biodegradable/biodegradable polymer film may be used as a scaffold for tissue engineering scaffolds for engineering organized organs, such as vascular grafts, for example. In one embodiment, an ultraviolet (UV) resin made from a diacrylated biodegradable oligomer is molded into a flexible scaffold having cavities and/or channels. Channel/cavity size may be on the order of micrometers and/or nanometers, and thus the walls may have high aspect ratios. Smooth muscle cells may be deposited in the channels and because of the high aspect ratios, the cells may align along the channels/cavities as confluence is reached.
