  • Patent number: 12374973
Abstract: A repair device for burnout of a stator iron core in a giant hydraulic turbine generator, and a repair method thereof are provided. The repair device includes toothed plates, ventilation slots, binding holes, ventilation holes, and binding cables. Each of the toothed plates is matched with a burnout area in the middle of the iron core, such that two ends of the toothed plate are in contact with plate assemblies. The binding cables rotatably pass through the binding holes and are pulled tightly to bind the toothed plates and coil bars into an integral structure. The present disclosure solves the problem of influence on the power generation benefit during the flood season due to long re-lamination cycle after burnout of the middle of the stator iron core of the hydraulic turbine generator.

  • Publication number: 20250232959
Abstract: Some implementations described herein provide a deposition tool and methods of operation. The deposition tool may be used in the fabrication of integrated circuit devices to deposit materials and/or layers on a semiconductor substrate. The deposition tool may include a chamber (e.g., a processing chamber) that is coated with a dielectric coating on sidewalls of the chamber. The dielectric coating on the sidewalls of the chamber within the deposition tool increases a likelihood of a negative charge accumulating near the sidewalls of the chamber. The increased likelihood of negative charge accumulation near the sidewalls of the chamber may improve a uniformity of an electromagnetic field within the deposition tool (e.g., during a deposition operation) relative to another deposition too not including such a dielectric coating. The improved uniformity of the electromagnetic field may enable an improved uniformity of a material being deposited by the deposition tool to be achieved.

  • Patent number: 12360431
Abstract: A photonic integrated circuit (PIC) includes a first microresonator that generates a two-mode squeezed vacuum using spontaneous four-wave mixing. Specifically, the first microresonator uses a nonlinear optical medium to convert two pump photons into a pair of entangled signal and idler photons. Due to imperfect conversion efficiency, some of the pump light may co-propagate with the signal light and idler light. To remove this “unconverted” pump light, the PIC includes a second microresonator that is tuned to resonate with only the pump light. The second microresonator is located after the first microresonator and couples the unconverted pump light into a waveguide that guide the light off the PIC. Thus, the second microresonator acts as a notch filter. Integrating this pump filter onto the PIC adds negligibly to the path length of the squeezed light, and therefore saves the propagation losses incurred when using a much larger off-chip filter.

  • Publication number: 20250203887
Abstract: Some embodiments relate to an integrated circuit (IC) device including a thin-film resistor (TFR) overlying a substrate and including a first film and a second film that are stacked in a direction transverse to a top surface of the substrate. The first film includes a first material having a negative temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR) within a temperature range. The negative TCR causes a resistance of the first film to decrease as a temperature of the first film increases. The second film includes a second material having a positive TCR within the temperature range. The positive TCR causes a resistance of the second film to increase as a temperature of the second film increases.

  • Publication number: 20250111424
Abstract: An online system hosts a retailer storefront user interface for a third-party retailer that includes content associated with items offered by the retailer for procurement and delivery through the online system. A retailer may provide preferences for where different candidate content is placed in the retailer storefront user interface. The online system applies a machine learning model to the retailer preferences and other contextual information relating to a particular presentation of the retailer storefront user interface to dynamically rank content for different possible placement positions. The ranking scores may relate to predicted performance metrics associated with operations of the online system. Content is then placed in the retailer storefront user interface based on the respective ranking scores.

  • Publication number: 20250056311
Abstract: The described technology is generally directed towards a transport protocol for latency sensitive applications. The disclosed transport protocol is “semi-reliable” in that it allows for specification of an importance of data being transmitted, thereby allowing important data to be sent reliably, while other data can be dropped if necessary, e.g., under bad network conditions. A deadline can be specified for such other data, and if the other data cannot be sent prior to the deadline, it can be dropped. Furthermore, the disclosed transport protocol can allow for early discovery of network jitter. A client device can send regular acknowledgments which identify most recently received data packets as well as a number of “heartbeat transmissions” received at the client device. A server device can use the acknowledgments to discover and respond to jitter.

  • Publication number: 20240426431
Abstract: Systems and methods for thermal transport in space for cryogenic propellant storage tank chilldown are described. In order to maximize the storage tank chilldown thermal efficiency for the least amount of required cryogen consumption, the embodiments relate to quenching heat transfer concepts that can include the combination of cryogenic spray quenching cooling, thermal insulator thin-film coating on the tank inner surface, and spray flow pulsing. The boiling heat transfer physics that supports the concepts are described. The completed flight experiments successfully demonstrated the feasibility of the concepts and discovered that spray cooling can be an efficient cooling method for the tank chilldown in microgravity. In microgravity, the data shows that the chilldown thermal efficiency can reach 30% with a thermal insulator coating alone. Further thermal efficiencies can be made up to 50% with flow pulsing.
