Abstract: An icemaker appliance and method for reducing total dissolved solids is provided. The icemaker appliance includes a closed loop circuit including a conduit fluidly coupling together a water reservoir, an icemaking vessel, and an ice reservoir. A pump is configured to flow water through the conduit. A controller is configured to selectively operate the pump and the icemaking vessel. The controller is configured to allow a temperature at the icemaking vessel to be above freezing temperature of water at the conduit; and operate the pump to flow water through the closed loop circuit.

Abstract: A control circuit coupled to a memory through multiple channels. The plurality of channels comprises a first channel, and the control circuit comprises a storage circuit and a processor. The storage circuit is configured to store multiple read-voltage tables and an index register. The processor is coupled to the storage circuit. When an error occurs in a read operation of the first channel, the processor is configured to perform a first retry-read test to the memory through the first channel by sequentially using the multiple read-voltage tables until the first retry-read test is successfully performed by using a target read-voltage table of the multiple read-voltage tables. When the first retry-read test is successfully performed by the processor, the processor determines whether to update the index register according to an analysis of a change history of a stored data in the index register.

Abstract: An icemaker includes a casing that receives water from a water supply and is in thermal communication with an evaporator of a sealed system that chills the casing to freeze the water. An auger is mounted within the interior volume and is rotatable to scrape the ice from the casing and urge it through an extruder to form nugget ice. A BLDC motor is mechanically coupled to the auger to selectively rotate the auger. A controller determines a target speed of the auger based at least in part on the ice production parameter, and operates the BLDC motor to rotate the auger at the target speed. The BLDC motor with the speed-closed control loop can provide the constant speed and enough torque to prevent the ice maker from freezing. The controller can adjust the PWM and the voltage will be adjusted slightly, then the torque will be adjusted accordingly.

The method comprises determining driving environment data collected by the vehicle during driving process; determining input graph structure data representing an initial relationship between traffic signs and a lane based on the driving environment data; and processing the input graph structure data based on a graph neural network model to obtain an association relationship between a preset type of traffic sign among the traffic signs and the lane. The technical solution of the present disclosure does not require manual design of threshold parameters and algorithm flow in the process of processing the input graph structure data by means of a graph neural network model, and therefore can improve the efficiency and accuracy of determining the association relationship between traffic lights and a lane and ensure safe driving.

The Raney copper catalyst includes aluminum, copper and a metal promoter, wherein the metal promoter comprises a combination of one or more of Ni, Fe, Mo, Co, Ag, Pd, Pt, Au and other elements. The preparation method includes performing high-temperature melting on a mixture containing a copper/aluminum alloy and the metal promoter to obtain a mixed metal cured compound, then smashing the mixed metal cured compound to obtain a catalyst precursor, and subsequently activating to obtain the Raney copper catalyst. The Raney copper catalyst exhibits a capability on hydrogenation reaction based on synergistic effects between metal copper and different promoter metals. Compared with the Raney copper catalyst without metal promoters, when used for preparing 1,3-propanediol through hydrogenation of 3-hydroxypropionaldehyde aqueous solution, the Raney copper catalyst is higher in activity and better in stability.
