The ice mold may define a discrete first compartment and second compartment within which water freezes. The first compartment may define a first cube profile. The second compartment may be axially-spaced apart from the first compartment and define a second cube profile. The second cube profile may be different from the first cube profile. The ejector may be rotatably disposed above the first cube profile and the second cube profile to motivate ice from the first and second compartments.

    Abstract: Methods described herein generate executable program code based on sequence codes, such that the executable program code is executable by a computer processor. According to such a method, a command is received to generate executable program code. Via a code-building interface, user input is received indicating an operation to be performed by the executable program code, a data type for to the executable program code, and a condition for applying the executable program code. A sequence code is constructed to represent the user input, where the sequence code includes a sequence of character sets. From the sequence code, a first character set corresponding to the operation, a second character set corresponding to the data type, and a third character set corresponding to the condition are extracted. Mapping data is applied to the first character set, the second character set, and the third character set to generate the executable program code.

    Abstract: An optical connector has a first connection end configured to fit with a peer adapter. The electrical connector has a second connection end configured to fit with the peer adapter. The first connection end and the second connection end have a same opening direction. In addition, the first connection end may slide along a plugging direction of the peer adapter relative to the second connection end. The first connection end is configured to be connected to the peer adapter before the second connection end. The optical connector is connected to the peer adapter before the electrical connector. This ensures that a channel for transmitting an optical signal is communicated before a channel for transmitting an electrical signal is communicated, thereby avoiding fiber burning and improving security and reliability of the opto-electronic adapter during use.

The septum may include a first seal coupled to the distal end and a second seal coupled to the proximal end. In response to the hollow body being in the closed position, the second seal may block a proximal opening of the housing, and the holes may be disposed within the housing. In response to the hollow body sliding from the closed position to the open position, the holes may be disposed distal to the housing, and the second seal may be removed from the proximal opening of the housing such that fluid may flow proximally into the plurality of holes and through the proximal opening of the housing.

The needle assembly may also include an extension tube, which may include a distal end integrated with the needle hub and a proximal end integrated with a cannula hub. A cannula may extend proximally from the cannula hub. An elastomeric sheath may be coupled to the cannula hub, and a proximal end of the cannula may be enveloped within the elastomeric sheath. In response to the blood collection tube pushing the elastomeric sheath distally, the cannula may pierce the elastomeric sheath, and the cannula may insert into the blood collection tube.

Therefore, during the distance transformation, the processing speed for determining the distance value of each cell is increased.

An embodiment of a composition provides combining: one or more enzymes capable of nick translating activity, a dNTP mix comprising at least one dNTP having a modified base, and at least one modification-sensitive nicking endonuclease that is prevented from nicking DNA if its recognition site contains the modified base. When the composition is added to a sample comprising a double-stranded DNA template that comprises recognition sites for the modification-sensitive nicking endonuclease, a reaction mix was produced which could be incubated for any time period in excess of about 5 minutes to produce fragments of a desired size of the double-stranded DNA template. In this method, the fragments produced include the modified base and, as such, are not re-nicked by the nicking endonuclease.
