Abstract: An example intent-recognition system comprises a processor and memory storing instructions. The instructions cause the processor to receive speech input comprising spoken words. The instructions cause the processor to generate text results based on the speech input and generate acoustic feature annotations based on the speech input. The instructions also cause the processor to apply an intent model to the text result and the acoustic feature annotations to recognize an intent based on the speech input. An example system for adapting an emotional text-to-speech model comprises a processor and memory. The memory stores instructions that cause the processor to receive training examples comprising speech input and receive labelling data comprising emotion information associated with the speech input. The instructions also cause the processor to extract audio signal vectors from the training examples and generate an emotion-adapted voice font model based on the audio signal vectors and the labelling data.

The intravenous (IV) catheter assembly may include an introducer needle. The elongated shaft may include a flashback notch, and the flashback notch may include a distal end and a proximal end. The flashback notch may include a smooth tapered edge extending from the distal end in a direction that increases a depth of the flashback notch. The smooth tapered edge may extend along at least half of an entire length of the flashback notch between the distal end and the proximal end.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing a clad steel pipe is provided, wherein the clad steel pipe is manufactured by using a clad steel plate as a raw material. The clad steel plate comprises a base layer (1) and a clad layer (2) roll-bonded with the base layer (1). The method for manufacturing a clad steel pipe comprises the steps of forming, welding, and deburring; both sides of the clad steel plate are bent towards the base layer (1) side of the clad steel plate, then the forming step is carried out, and after the forming step, the opening faces of the resultant pipe blank are all in a form of the clad layer (2). According to the method for manufacturing a clad steel pipe, a clad steel pipe is manufactured by using a clad steel plate as a raw material. Thus, continuance and high efficiency of a high-frequency longitudinal welding pipe unit is fully utilized, subsequent non-continuous processes are not necessary, and the corrosion resistance at the weld of the clad steel pipe is ensured.
