  • Publication number: 20180162550
Abstract: A detection system for detecting failure in a primary load path of a flight control actuator and annunciating engagement in a secondary load path of the flight control actuator. The failure in the primary load path causes axial movement in a secondary rod of the secondary load path. The detection system includes a secondary mounting assembly that guides axial movement of the secondary rod; and a sensor that electronically detects relative axial displacement between the secondary rod and the secondary mounting assembly upon a primary load path failure and annunciates transition to engagement in the secondary load path.

  • Publication number: 20180070146
Abstract: Various implementations described herein are directed to determining variations or changes to a predetermined programming schedule. In accordance with one method, a predicted end time of video content may be determined to be later than a scheduled end time of the video content. Also, it may be determined that video content scheduled to be displayed on a first stream or channel has been moved to a second stream or channel. A scheduled recording or transmission time of video content may be altered based on detected changes to the predetermined programming schedule. A program listing such as an electronic program guide may be revised based on detected changes to the predetermined programming schedule.

  • Patent number: 9649793
Abstract: Processes for producing near net-shape panels and panels formed thereby. The processes include forming a preform to comprise a stack of multiple plies that contain an uncured expandable foam material. The preform has regions that differ from each other by the number and/or volume of the plies therein. The preform and its plies are then cured within a restricted volume to produce a near net-shape panel. The curing step causes the expandable foam material to expand, and the restricted volume is sized so that the number and volume of the plies within the regions of the preform cause zones within the panel to have different densities and/or thicknesses.

  • Publication number: 20160379123
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for generating recommendations for content items and ranking categories of content based on a user's consumption history. The content items may comprise various forms of media content, including, video, audio, Internet webpages, etc. When a user or consumption device accesses content items, a computing device may monitor the amount of the content items consumed by a user over one or more consumption sessions. In one embodiment, a user may identify content preferences and/or provide other input to the recommendation system to further customize content rankings and recommendations.
