  • Patent number: 11892205
Abstract: A heat pump that includes a thermoelectric device(s) and a heat sink having a raised portion with a top surface for thermally coupling with a planar face of the thermoelectric device(s). The raised portion of the heat sink includes an outer periphery and a raised central region surrounded by a void region to provide more uniform thermal conductivity when clamped within an assembly. The raised central region is shaped in an any shape corresponding to a shape of uneven thermal conductivity due to clamping pressure applied to the heat sink. The void region can be substantially contiguous and entirely circumscribe the central raised region. The device can optionally include discrete supports formed of a less thermally-conductive material within the void region. The supports can be elastomeric, such as O-rings, and disposed within pockets defined within the void region.

  • Patent number: 11882538
Abstract: A wireless communication network comprises a Network Exposure Function (NEF) and an Access and Mobility Management Function (AMF) to register a User Equipment (UE). The NEF receives a NEF Application Programming Interface (API) call that has a UE instruction. The NEF translates the NEF API call having the UE instruction into an AMF API call that has the UE instruction. The NEF transfers the AMF API call to the AMF. The AMF translates the UE instruction into a registration message that has a registration cause. The AMF transfers the registration message that has the registration cause to the UE. The UE receives the registration message, and in response, identifies networking data based on the registration cause and performs a registration based on the networking data.

  • Publication number: 20240004464
Abstract: This document describes imaging and visualization systems in which the intent of a group of users in a shared space is determined and acted upon. In one aspect, a method includes identifying, for a group of users in a shared virtual space, a respective objective for each of two or more of the users in the group of users. For each of the two or more users, a determination is made, based on inputs from multiple sensors having different input modalities, a respective intent of the user. At least a portion of the multiple sensors are sensors of a device of the user that enables the user to participate in the shared virtual space. A determination is made, based on the respective intent, whether the user is performing the respective objective for the user. Output data is generated and provided based on the respective objectives respective intents.

  • Patent number: 11860319
Abstract: A phase-contrast imaging detector includes a plurality of pixels. Each pixel includes a detection material that generates a measurable parameter in response to X-ray photons. Each pixel also includes a plurality of sub-pixel resolution readout structures. The sub-pixel resolution readout structures are in an alternating pattern with a spacing therebetween that is larger than a frequency of a phase-contrast interference pattern but small enough to enable charge sharing between adjacent sub-pixel resolution readout structures when an X-ray photon hits between the adjacent sub-pixel resolution readout structures. The phase-contrast imaging detector also includes readout circuitry configured to read out signals from the plurality of sub-pixel readout structures. The plurality of sub-pixel resolution readout structures includes two or more electrodes having alternating arms that form an interleaved comb structure.

  • Publication number: 20230389093
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided herein to implement a platform independent client framework, which may also be known as a universal software stack. A computer-implemented method for may be used when seeking to connect a device without a 5G radio, such as a 3GPP device, to a 5G network. The device seeking to connect to the 5G network sends a connection request message to the platform independent client framework. Based on the connection request message, the platform independent client framework requests a platform specific adapter, which is then used to create an adapted message. The platform independent client framework then encapsulates the adapted message. The adapted message is then encapsulated to create a first encapsulated message. The first encapsulated message is then encapsulated in an internet protocol security protocol to create a second encapsulated message. The second encapsulated message is then transmitted to the 5G network.
