  • Patent number: 11484465
Abstract: This disclosure relates to device for providing continuous negative abdominal pressure (CNAP) which selectively recruits (inflates) the dorsal (spinal region) collapsed areas of the lung, while enabling the patient to remain in the supine (usual) position. The CNAP device includes a rigid frame configured to have a shape and size to envelop a patient's lower chest and abdominal area while in a supine position with the frame having opposed edges which sit on a surface on which the supine patient is resting. A series of panels are mounted in the frame such that the series of panels extend around the patient's lower chest and abdominal area. A flexible sheet wrapped around the outside of the panels and is long enough to extend up to the patient's upper chest and down to the patient's thighs and wide enough to envelop the supine patient's lower chest and abdominal area.

  • Patent number: 11470386
Abstract: In one aspect, a method is performed by a computing system that is in communication with a content-presentation device, where the content-presentation device is scheduled to perform, at a modification start-time, a content-modification operation that comprises modifying a modifiable content-segment that the content-presentation device is scheduled to receive. The method includes determining that the content-presentation device has detected, within a predefined time period after the modification start-time and during performance of the content-modification operation, a mismatch between reference fingerprint data representing the modifiable content-segment and query fingerprint data representing content received by the content-presentation device from a tuner device connected to the content-presentation device.

  • Patent number: 11461754
Abstract: A system and method of providing two-way communication between an isolated POS system and a website are described. The POS system operates as an air gap system. In response to detecting a trigger event the two-way communication is initiated for installation, diagnostic and repair services. POS information for transmission to the website through the internet is generated using a QR code that includes the website address and a data payload that depends on the desired service. The QR code is read by a smart phone and transmitted to the website. The website responds by sending response data dependent on the QR code and desired service. The response data is communicated to the POS system via another QR code for further operations by the POS system based thereon.

  • Publication number: 20220288673
Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to partial integrated core-shell investment casting molds that can be assembled into complete molds. Each section of the partial mold may contain both a portion of a core and portion of a shell. Each section can then be assembled into a mold for casting of a metal part. The partial integrated core-shell investment casting molds and the complete molds may be provided with filament structures corresponding to cooling hole patterns on the surface of the turbine blade or the stator vane, which provides a leaching pathway for the core portion after metal casting. The invention also relates to core filaments that can be used to supplement the leaching pathway, for example in a core tip portion of the mold.

  • Patent number: 11430096
Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for detecting a printer jam. The systems and methods can include receiving a reference image of a printer opening and a second image of the printer opening. A lack of a receipt between the second image compared to the reference image can be detected. The lack of the receipt can indicate the printer jam. After detecting the printer jam, operation of the self-service terminal can be terminated.

  • Patent number: 11428826
Abstract: A semiconductor device may include a plurality of single-photon avalanche diodes. The single-photon avalanche diodes may be arranged in microcells. Each microcell may be a split microcell with first and second independent microcell segments. Each microcell segment in the split microcell may have a respective single-photon avalanche diode that is coupled to an output line. The single-photon avalanche diode of each microcell segment may also be coupled to a respective resistor that is used to quench avalanches in the single-photon avalanche diode. Splitting the microcell may reduce the recovery time of each microcell. The segments of the split microcell may be positioned close together, even if susceptible to optical crosstalk. Intra-microcell isolation structures may be formed between the microcell segments. Inter-microcell isolation structures may be formed around a perimeter of the split microcell. The intra-microcell and inter-microcell isolation structures may be different.

  • Patent number: 11430055
Abstract: One or more techniques and/or systems are provided for bid optimization. A bid test component is configured to receive a notification from a content recommendation auction engine that a user has requested that the bid test component test various bidding parameters for a content scheme used to bid on opportunities to show content to users. Accordingly, a set of test content schemes are created. Varying bid levels, budget allocations, and/or other bidding parameters are set for the test content schemes. The test content schemes are submitted to the content recommendation auction engine for bidding on opportunities to show content. Test content scheme statistics, regarding the performance of the test content schemes, are collected. Recommendations are providing and automated content scheme management is facilitated based upon the test content scheme statistics.

  • Publication number: 20220271465
Abstract: A socket connector includes an array of socket contacts arranged in rows and columns. The socket contacts have upper mating interfaces for mating with a first electronic package and lower mating interfaces for mating with a second electronic package. The socket contacts are configured to electrically connect the first and second electronic packages. Each socket contact includes an upper cap, a lower cap, and a spring beam helically coiled between the upper cap and the lower cap. The spring beam is compressible. The upper cap, the lower cap and the spring beam are additive manufactured such that the upper cap, the lower cap and the spring beam form a unitary, three-dimensional conductive structure to electrically connect the first and second electronic packages.

  • Publication number: 20220224977
Abstract: In one aspect, a method includes receiving a first request for first supplemental content for use by a content-presentation device in performing a first content-modification operation, receiving a second request for second supplemental content for use by a tuner device in performing a second content-modification operation. The method also includes determining that the content-presentation device is connected to the tuner device, and based at least in part on the first and second requests, determining that the first and second requests are associated with the same modifiable content-segment, and, in response to the determinations, using one or more parameters as a basis to select for performance an action from a set of actions including a first action that facilitates performance of the first content-modification operation and a second action that facilitates performance of the second content-modification operation.
