  • Patent number: 11351599
Abstract: Partial integrated core-shell investment casting molds that can be assembled into complete molds are provided herein. Each section of the partial mold may contain both a portion of a core and portion of a shell. Each section can then be assembled into a mold for casting of a metal part. The partial integrated core-shell investment casting molds and the complete molds may be provided with filament structures corresponding to cooling hole patterns on the surface of the turbine blade or the stator vane, which provides a leaching pathway for the core portion after metal casting. Core filaments that can be used to supplement the leaching pathway, for example in a core tip portion of the mold are also provided herein.

  • Publication number: 20220173973
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer-storage media, for connecting processors using twisted torus configurations. In some implementations, a cluster of processing nodes is coupled using a reconfigurable interconnect fabric. The system determines a number of processing nodes to allocate as a network within the cluster and a topology for the network. The system selects an interconnection scheme for the network, where the interconnection scheme is selected from a group that includes at least a torus interconnection scheme and a twisted torus interconnection scheme. The system allocates the determined number of processing nodes of the cluster in the determined topology, sets the reconfigurable interconnect fabric to provide the selected interconnection scheme for the processing nodes in the network, and provides access to the network for performing a computing task.

  • Patent number: 11343565
Abstract: In one aspect, a method is performed by a content-presentation device that is scheduled to perform, at a modification start-time, a content-modification operation that comprises modifying a modifiable content-segment that the content-presentation device is scheduled to receive. The method includes receiving reference fingerprint data representing the modifiable content-segment. The method also includes making a comparison of the reference fingerprint data with query fingerprint data representing content received by the content-presentation device from a tuner device connected to the content-presentation device. The method also includes based on the comparison, detecting, within a predefined time period after the modification start-time and during performance of the content-modification operation, a mismatch between the reference fingerprint data and the query fingerprint data.

  • Publication number: 20220158019
Abstract: A semiconductor package may include a line array of single-photon avalanche diodes (SPADs). The line array of single-photon avalanche diodes may be split between multiple silicon dice. The silicon dice may have a staggered arrangement, with prisms on the package lid redirecting incident light to the silicon dice. The silicon dice may alternate between a first side of the package substrate and a second side of the package substrate. The prisms may alternate between a first structure that redirects incident light to the first side of the package substrate and a second structure that redirects incident light to the second side of the package substrate. The silicon dice may overlap to allow satisfactory alignment between the silicon dice and the prisms.

  • Publication number: 20220157871
Abstract: A semiconductor package may include a line array of single-photon avalanche diodes (SPADs). The line array of single-photon avalanche diodes may be split between multiple silicon dice. Each silicon die may be overlapped by at least one lens to focus light away from gaps between the dice and towards the single-photon avalanche diodes. There may be one single-photon avalanche diode for each silicon die or multiple single-photon avalanche diodes for each silicon die. When there are multiple single-photon avalanche diodes for each silicon die, lenses may be formed over only the edge single-photon avalanche diodes.

  • Publication number: 20220151095
Abstract: An electronic assembly includes an electronic package having an integrated circuit component and interposer assemblies with compressible interposer contacts electrically connected thereto. Cable connector modules are coupled to the interposer assemblies. A cover assembly is coupled to the upper surface of the electronic package over the cable connector modules. The cover assembly includes bridge assemblies having plates in a plate stack that are independently movable. A load plate engages upper edges of the plates of the bridge assemblies and press against the plates to drive the bridge assemblies into the cable connector modules using compression hardware. The cable connector modules compress the interposer contacts of the interposer assemblies when the load plate presses the plates of the bridge assemblies into the cable connector modules.
