  • Patent number: 8784077
Abstract: The invention is a submersible battery-operated water pump system comprised of a water pump with a plug connector that attaches to a rechargeable battery via a receptacle connector for the purpose of water recirculation as used in decorative water fountains. The submersible water pump system is designed to rest at the bottom of a water reservoir (with a minimum depth of 2 inches) to recirculate water, thus producing water flow. The plug and receptacle connectors attach to distribute electrical power from the rechargeable battery to the water pump to allow operation. The submersible, rechargeable, battery-operated water pump system is cordless, thus providing safe, portable, independent operation without the use of electrical cords or outlets.

  • Publication number: 20140000516
Abstract: A contrast target tool for locating and marking a desired location on a surface of an object. The contrast tool can have a target flange with a plurality of contrast targets thereon and a marker that is rigidly attached to and extending from the target flange. The marker can have a marker end that is operable to produce a mark on the three-dimensional object and the target flange with the marker can be operable to be viewed by a digital imaging system. In this manner, a present location of the marker end can be determined and tracked in real time to allow the operator to locate and place the marker end at the desired or precise location on the object surface and produce a mark thereon.

  • Publication number: 20130070963
Abstract: The present invention provides an adaptive feature recognition tool that can be used to determine the location and/or count discrete features on an object being manufactured in a relatively quick time fashion. The tool can include an elongated rigid member that has a first end with a generally planar surface, the generally planar surface having a plurality of contrast targets thereon. The elongated rigid member can also have a second end for placement at a desired location, for example placement on a plurality of features whose number and/or location(s) on the object is desired. In addition, an exposure device that is operable to expose specific subsets of the plurality of contrast targets to a line-of-sight digital imaging device can be included.
