  • Publication number: 20250119180
Abstract: Various product serialization systems can be integrated with thin-film wireless label technology. At the time of activating a thin-film wireless label, a wireless transmitter identifier can be associated with an existing serialization code, allowing the thin-film wireless label and the serialization code to be linked in an item tracking system. In some embodiments, a thin-film wireless label can be manufactured with a trace layer below the printable area of the label. The trace layer connected to a microcontroller in the thin-film wireless label can be used to capture an induction signal generated in the trace layer during thermal printing of a serialization code on the thin-film wireless label. The induction signal can be used to construct a representation of the serialization code. The representation can be associated with the thin-film wireless label, stored, and otherwise used in tracking an item to which the thin-film wireless label is attached.

  • Publication number: 20250115813
Abstract: A method for treating effluent from hydrothermal liquification of feedstock that contains plastic oil, pyrolysis oil, synthetic oil or hydrocarbons distillates in a plastic recycle process using supercritical water as a reaction medium into a finished liquid hydrocarbon fuel by removing impurities such as i.e. silicon, chlorides, metals, heteroatoms, etc., in a pre-treatment zone and may be passed into a feed drum or a continuous mixed settler vessel. The feed is introduced into a hydrogen atmosphere reactor. The reactor effluent is passed to a separator for extracting product mixture by addition of make-up or recycled hydrogen to the separator. The overhead product mixture is water washed to remove sour water or salt. The separator effluent is passed to a distillation section for extracting a liquid fuel product stream. A portion of the hydro processing product stream may be recycled to the feed drum or the continuous mixed settler vessel, which reduces concentration of diolefins.

  • Publication number: 20250118035
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure involve a system comprising a computer-readable storage medium storing at least one program, method, and user interface to facilitate context based augmented reality communication between multiple users over a network. Virtual content item configuration data indicative of a selection by a first user of virtual content item to apply to a real-world environment that is visible to a second user via a second device is received from a first device. The virtual content item configuration data also includes one or more criteria to trigger application of the virtual content item to the real-world environment. A triggering event is detected based on satisfaction of the one or more criteria determined from context data generated at the second device. The second device presents the virtual content item overlaid on the real-world environment that is visible to the second user based on the triggering event.

  • Publication number: 20250117214
Abstract: Traditionally, version numbers for application programming interfaces are determined manually and do not convey semantic meaning. Accordingly, disclosed embodiments automatically generate a version number for an application programming interface based on the changes, if any, from a past deployment to a current deployment of the application programming interface. The version number may comprise a major version number that is incremented when a change is to the interface and affects the operation of clients that utilize the application programming interface. The version number may also comprise a minor version number that is incremented when a change is to the interface, but does not affect the operation of clients. The version number may also comprise a patch version number that is incremented when a change is only to the implementation of the application programming interface.

  • Publication number: 20250117374
Abstract: User information is protected by providing a protective layer between a provider and a user device. A server receives a suggestion to present to the user device from a third party, such as a provider of goods or services that wants to push the suggestion to the user device. The suggestion includes a request for user information. The server then determines a likelihood that the request for user information is a necessary component of the suggestion. When the likelihood is low, the request is removed from the suggestion. When the likelihood is high, the server creates an executable computer code that includes the request. The executable computer code can be transmitted to the user device to present the suggestion to the user device without disclosing the user's information to the server.

  • Publication number: 20250119093
Abstract: Artificial satellites are dependent on solar arrays to produce the power needed to support the functional components of the satellite. The present invention is directed to a hinge-locking mechanism designed to maximize the photovoltaic real estate of a solar array of an artificial satellite. The hinge-locking mechanism facilitates the deployment of the solar array upon the artificial satellite entering orbit. The hinge-locking mechanism utilizes a tapered pin with an internal spring resting against an asymmetrically oval shaped cam of a common pivot point. The hinge-lock trades kinetic energy of a solar panel for spring compression to permanently lock the solar array in place upon deployment while reducing the shock load and maximizing deployed stiffness.
