Abstract: Described herein are swappable battery modules comprising immersion-thermally controlled prismatic battery cells and methods of operating thereof. A method comprises positioning a swappable battery module on a battery dock comprising dock fluidic ports and sliding the swappable battery module to the dock fluidic ports until these dock's ports are fluidically coupled with the module's fluidic ports. Specifically, the dock comprises an enclosure and a module support rail slidably coupling the swappable battery module and the enclosure. The module support rail comprises a rail base, a first slider, a second slider, and a lever-based unit, interconnecting the rail base and both sliders. The rail base is fixed to the enclosure, while the second slider is detachably coupled to the module. The two sliders move at different speeds or at the same speed relative to the dock base depending on the proximity of the first end plate to the dock base.

  • Publication number: 20250116575
Abstract: A fluid sample collection unit may include a pod configured to receive a plurality of assay pads and a metering stack. The metering stack defines a channel extending longitudinally between an inlet end and dispensing portions. In some instances, the dispensing portions are movable relative to the assay pads, but a support feature within the pod vertically spaces apart the dispensing portions from the assay pads when less than a threshold vertical pressure is applied. In one instance, the pod defines a collection volume, a dispensing volume, and a passage portion, the passage portion connecting the collection and dispensing volumes. The metering stack is at least partially received within the pod, with the inlet end being positioned at the collection volume, the dispensing portions positioned within the dispensing volume above the assay pads, and an air gap being formed within the passage portion around the metering stack.

  • Publication number: 20250114898
Abstract: A method for chemical mechanical polishing includes bringing a substrate into contact with a polishing pad, causing relative motion between the substrate and polishing pad, dispensing a polishing liquid onto the polishing pad, holding the substrate in a lateral position with a retaining ring secured to a carrier head, and rotating the carrier head about an axis of rotation. The retaining ring has a plurality of channels extending from an inner diameter surface of the retaining ring to an outer diameter surface of the retaining ring such that rotation cause the polishing liquid to be preferentially expelled from a region below an outer edge of the substrate through the plurality of channels.

Abstract: Described are techniques for electrical grid origination determination using Power Line Disturbance (PLD) characteristics. The techniques include detecting a first PLD in a first voltage feed of a first power unit at a first time. The techniques further include comparing the first PLD to other PLDs aggregated from multiple power units. The techniques further include determining that the first voltage feed of the first power unit originates from a same source as a second power unit based on a similarity between the first PLD and a second PLD of the second power unit satisfying a similarity threshold and occurring within a same timeframe proximate to the first time. The techniques further include recording that the first power unit and the second power unit receive power from a same source.

  • Publication number: 20250119409
Abstract: Methods and systems for using a software gateway to improve enterprise user privacy for network communication data are described. A server executing the software gateway may receive a request for network communication data via several described pathways, including a software client on the client device, a proxy auto-configuration module, and a reverse proxy server. The software gateway may receive the network communication data, which is then forwarded to a proxy server, where the proxy server executes software modules included within the network communication data to generate expanded network data. The software gateway server may then filter the expanded network data by applying a set of content identification rules. Each content identification rule may specify data that is not passed to the client device. Only the portion of the executed network data allowed by the set of content identification rules may then be transmitted back to the software client.

Abstract: A wood or engineered wood structural panel, such as, but not limited to, OSB (“oriented strand board”) or plywood, that is both fire-resistant and water resistant. The panel is factory-coated with a product that provides fire resistance. The treatment gives it a Fire-Resistant (FR) performance (for use in a one- or two-hour rated assembly). The panel also is overlaid or coated in a factory setting with a weather/water resistive barrier (WRB). The structural panel thus combines a fire-resistant structural sheathing and WRB product in one integrated panel produced at a factory prior for installation at a job site.
