  • Patent number: 12273432
Abstract: One or more bits of the destination MAC address indicate a number of times a reset event has occurred. These bits may be referred to as a generation number. The generation number in a destination MAC address is updated when a reset event occurs. In this way, frames issued by the sender prior to the reset may be distinguished from frames issued after the reset, since the destination MAC addresses in those frames will not match. In this way, the recipient device is protected from stale packets.

  • Patent number: 12273215
Abstract: A building system including one or more memory devices having instructions stored thereon, that, when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to receive an event from an event source, the event comprising data and a timestamp. The building system operates to identify first contextual data describing the event in a digital twin, the digital twin comprising a virtual representation of a building, enrich the event with the first contextual data, and provide the enriched event to a consuming system, the consuming system generating an output event based on the enriched event. The building system operates to identify second contextual data describing the output event in the digital twin, enrich the output event with the second contextual data, and provide the enriched output event to the consuming system or another consuming system.

  • Patent number: 12271696
Abstract: This invention presents an optimized approach for training and operating Large Language Models (LLMs) using codewords. By converting traditional token-based LLMs to codeword-based systems, the method achieves significant efficiency gains. The process involves tokenizing training data and assigning codewords to tokens. LLMs are then trained and operated using these compact codewords instead of conventional tokens. During operation, prompts are converted to codewords, processed by the LLM, and the outputs are converted back to text. This approach reduces the overall cost of training and operating LLMs by approximately, offering a more efficient solution for large-scale language processing tasks.

  • Patent number: 12273936
Abstract: The system receives orbital information for at least one satellite of a non-terrestrial network. The orbital information includes the location and velocity of the at least one satellite. The system determines a location of a wireless device and the wireless device's location relative to the at least one satellite. The system calculates a connectivity window based on the relative location. The connectivity window is a time period at the location of the wireless device during which the wireless device receives a signal from the at least one satellite to perform a network connection with the non-terrestrial network. The system connects the wireless device to the non-terrestrial network when the connectivity window of the at least one satellite is open. The system prevents the wireless device from searching for a network connection to the non-terrestrial network when the wireless device is outside the connectivity window of the at least one satellite.

Abstract: An actuator can include one or more shape memory material members. When an activation input is provided to the one or more shape memory material members, the one or more shape memory material members contract, which causes the actuator to morph into an activated configuration. A height of the actuator increases in the activated configuration. The actuator can include a first outer body member and a second outer body member. The first outer body member can include a first portion and a second portion pivotably connected to each other. One or more processors can be operatively connected to selectively activate the one or more shape memory material members.
