  • Publication number: 20230373642
Abstract: A disclosed device allows a person to fly. A disclosed wearable flight system includes a plurality of propulsion assemblies including a left-hand propulsion assembly configured to be worn on a user's left hand and/or forearm and a right-hand propulsion assembly configured to be worn on a user's right hand and/or forearm. A further embodiment includes a body propulsion device that is configured to provide a net force along an axis defining a net body propulsion vector and a support device configured to support a user's waist or torso. The support device is configured to hold a user's body relative to the body propulsion device such that a line extending between center the of the user's head and the center of the user's waist extends, relative to the orientation of the net body propulsion vector during use, by a body propulsion elevation angle that is greater than zero.

  • Publication number: 20230367959
Abstract: A tag management system can implement a combined synchronous and asynchronous tag-loading scheme. In an embodiment of this scheme, a synchronous tag may be included at the top of or near the top of a content page. This synchronous tag can hide one or more page elements that are to be modified by a subsequent asynchronous personalization tag. Subsequently, the asynchronous personalization tag can update the page element and then cause the page element to be displayed. As a result, flicker between the old and new page elements can be reduced or avoided.

  • Patent number: 11818167
Abstract: An authoritative DNS server receives DNS requests for domains. The authoritative DNS server responds to the requests with address records that include IP addresses that are selected from a larger pool of IP addresses, where a first response to a DNS query for a domain can include IP addresses different from IP addresses included in a second response for the same domain. Also, the same IP addresses may be returned for a first domain and a different, second domain. The authoritative DNS server may randomly select the IP addresses to include in responses to the requests regardless of the domain.

  • Patent number: 11807243
Abstract: Embodiments include apparatuses, methods, and systems for computer assisted or autonomous driving (CA/AD). An apparatus for CA/AD may include a sensor interface, a communication interface, and a driving strategy unit. The sensor interface may receive sensor data indicative of friction between a road surface of a current location of a CA/AD vehicle and one or more surfaces of one or more tires of the CA/AD vehicle. The communication interface may receive, from an external road surface condition data source, data indicative of friction for a surface of a road section ahead of the current location of the CA/AD vehicle. The driving strategy unit may determine, based at least in part on the sensor data and the data received from the external road surface condition data source, a driving strategy for the CA/AD vehicle beyond the current location of the CA/AD vehicle. Other embodiments may also be described and claimed.

  • Publication number: 20230325459
Abstract: A proxy server receives, from multiple visitors of multiple client devices, a plurality of requests for actions to be performed on identified network resources belonging to a plurality of origin servers. At least some of the origin servers belong to different domains and are owned by different entities. The proxy server and the origin servers are also owned by different entities. The proxy server analyzes each request it receives to determine whether that request poses a threat and whether the visitor belonging to the request poses a threat. The proxy server blocks those requests from visitors that pose a threat or in which the request itself poses a threat. The proxy server transmits the requests that are not a threat and is from a visitor that is not a threat to the appropriate origin server.
